Constantly Researching: My wife and I purchased these as replacements for our original wedding bands from 13 years ago. We knew that we had to have something tough thanks to our old silver ones, which were wore thing, scratched, dented, etc...
So after learning of Tungsten Carbide and finding these we figured that they may do. Now, onto the actual reason as to why we needed something durable. My wife is in metal production/fabrication and I am a Jack-of-all-Trades, and we are both extremely hard on our hands. It has been two complete weeks since we've been wearing them, and my wife has banged hers, stuck it inside of a metal tumbler to get two parts unstuck from one another, and various other tasks that her job demands.
Me, since I have put it on, it has withstood seven different large plumbing jobs, being dropped on a concrete floor, auto mechanic work and various minor household repairs. The worst that has happened is them getting scuffed up, which easily wiped off with a tee shirt.
