djb76207: The contractor that did the electrical portion of my home construction used the 19 cent version of these switches in my whole house. So far, about 9 years in, I have replaced about a dozen of them. I don't have a crystal ball but I just bet I'm not done. I had another go out the other day and I finally broke down and bought ten of them. These are a little more expensive than most but I've had good luck with them in the past. Chances are, they will probably outlive me. You get what you pay for.
