David Wilson: Bought these around 10 months ago. Used as batteries for outdoor hard to reach sensors . They didn't last any longer than the basic alkaline equivalent - 9 months - back out on the roof again !!
I expected at least twice the life for 3 × the price .
Not worth it .
Similar experience with our heating thermostat which requires 2 AAA batteries which always lasted 18 months. These lasted 18 months ! FOR 3 × THE PRICE !
NOT worth the extra cost .

G Poyner: Best batteries currently available. My outdoor weather station has lasted 18 months using these batteries, whereas in the past I've been lucky to get 12 months out of Duracell equivalent. They really are the best.

borgy: I find them the Best ! But , they have become over priced ! To pay $15.00 for batteries for my headlamp ?
They are forcing me into a rechargeable unit ,with out batteries !
If you need it for work , and have a power source close by ! It would be way cheaper ! Richard

Alec J Pettit: I purchased these particular batteries for a laser pointer I use at work to point out things on the ceiling as well as getting a kick out of watching people frantically scan the room to figure out who the heck is shining a laser on them. Well my laser pointer is cracked out. The thing drains Duracell batteries faster than my ex wife drained my 401(k).
Once they arrived (the very next day mind you) I carefully installed them inside of the laser pointer per the instructions that came with the batteries. After all safety checks were met, I engaged the switch to activate the laser beam. To my horrifying amazement, the laser burned through my ceiling up to the second floor of my condo where I had been stock piling horse teeth for a uni project. Once Russia invaded Ukraine I was approached by Ukrainian special forces whom which kindly but sternly asked for my immediate assistance. For weeks I’ve been staying in a roomy 4x6’ foxhole with 30 tubs of C4 pre workout, 3 crates of Raisin Bran cereal and the complete discography of Rage Against the Machine on tape and the Ukrainian government was generous enough to give me a Walkman and the 1987 summer edition of Hustler magazine....

STEVIE: These may be pricey, but in the long run, they're worth it. I use three in my camera, and one in a damp tester -- so handy there's four in a pack! I've recently been testing the moisture content in logs that are going on a log burner -- everything should be below 12% to cope with modern rules and regulations re pollution etc, otherwise they have to be seasoned for 12 months outdoors. My advice is not to buy crap from the £1 shops -- they just don't last!

Verminator: There are no better commercial batteries on the market than these ones, SO LONG as you are using them for what they are intended to be used in. These batteries out-perform any other battery for high drain burst devices that require quick refreshing like a digital camera, a photo flash unit, or other electronics. Understand they ARE NOT RECHARGEABLE and have never been advertised as rechargeable, yet you'll notice several of the low-ratings for this battery are from brain surgeons who complain they won't charge, so you should disregard those idiot reviews. I use these batteries in a GPS device and get about 2 months use out of them running 24/7 in outdoor conditions, even through winter months. I've used regular Duracell alkaline batteries in the same device and get about 2 weeks out of them, so a considerable difference. This seller also sells them the cheapest at about $3.30 per battery. The key here is to KNOW WHY you need these batteries. There are designed for specific purposes and are not economical if you put them in devices that will not take advantage of their unique characteristics (mainly fast re-fresh rates and stable power under cold/freezing temperatures).
