Amazon Customer: this is a nice head light that i got from the warehouse. its simple and has 3 modes which was what i was looking for and it was at a decent price. I have bought a few items from the warehouse and they were good, a scuff here and there who cares no one knows. The right thing were their prices and am happy with the purchase and the savings. this is from a trusted brand energiser.

Kat: I purchased the model called “PRO”. Amazon seems also to list a “PRO 260” that appears to be the same product, as the purchased model is also rated at 260 lumens.

I have no problem giving this 5 stars. I have a vintage Petzl lamp that cost as much or more 10 – 15 years ago for a single unit, and these are vastly superior. The Petzl battery compartment was annoyingly difficult to open / close, and the on-off switch was no joy. The “red” light was a flip-down filter over the main light that was also hard to locate by feel and operate.

Regarding the Energizer, the battery compartment is easy to open yet still closes securely. The batteries do not want to “jump out” and are happy to stay in place while you close the cover. The on-off switch is significantly larger and therefore easier to find / operate. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. These units arrived with a black strap instead of the gray shown / advertised in the listing. That was a pleasant surprise to me. You may feel differently.

The only objections I can raise are the complete lack of operating instructions (it’s surprisingly non-intuitive) and that’s it’s advertised...

katherine weaver: I bought the Energizer LED headlamp Pro 2 pack. Some of the pictures show 2 buttons and 3 colors (white, red, green), mine only has one button and has red and several different white brightnesses.

These are solid headlamps. Excellent price. Sure it is a little heavier than a $70 Petzl and it isn't rechargeable, but these are great for most needs. We use them mostly for camping, but also chores around the house. There are 2 features of this headlamp that have made me ecstatic about this headlamp.

1) NO FLASHING MODE! I don't know who thought that was something everyone needs, but I will pay more to just have on and off please. Thank you Energizer!!

2) Defaults back to red first. This is so great when your are camping. It's night and you need bright white light for a bit, but then you shut it off. The first color you will get when you turn it on is red, thus preserving your night vision and not blinding everyone around you.

Best price for performance I have found!
