Gear: There's only a handful of applications for old school tube batteries in 2023, and enough crept up on me that I wanted a solution for the long term. I bought this for the charger and considered the batteries a bonus. They are AA batteries; they hold their charge for a long time between uses, but knowing how much charge they actually have at the ready is kind of opaque given they're mostly in flashlights and remotes.
The charger itself is functional but feels kind of cheap. A thin plastic scaffolding, it feels hollow in the hand and has a connection awkwardly situated at the top of the device, clearly as close to the actual charging circuitry as possible. That said, it charges the batteries, which is all I needed it to do, and also has a nice flashy meter on it to make charging a set-and-forget experience. It does gauge all four batteries on a single meter, but they've all usually encountered the same use case (usually a power outage) when I use them so any discrepancy between them isn't much of a problem.
Overall a good, if kind of flimsy feeling, charger paired with a good set of batteries at a good value.

Carga en minutos de una hasta 4 pilas individuales, vale mucho la pena compralo ahorra horas de estar recargando con otros cargadores qué vienen de paquete al comprar pilas Energizer o Panasonic. Este cargador es oro nivel, cómprelo!

NMNM: Lengthy Review of 1 Hour Charger + AAA and AA Rechargeable Batteries
Not sure how this will be filed as it looks like multiple products are lumped into one review bucket, and in my case purchased three items: the Energizer 1 Hour Charger along with a four pack of Energizer Recharge Plus AAAs and one of the AAs. Looked at virtually every other Name Brand option on Amazon, and seems like every single rechargeable product had reviews mentioning Not Charging or Burnt or some other Scary Thing. Picked the One Hour model as rechargeable technology is still Very Unreliable (see: Burnt) and the One Hour model allows me to plug it in nearby and Keep An Eye On It while in use. This review covers the Energizer 1 Hour Charger along with the Energizer Recharge Plus AAA and AAA batteries that were Sold By Amazon.
In March 2022 the 1 Hour Charger package shipped with four of the Energizer Recharge Plus AA batteries, so with the other purchases now have the Charger plus 8 AAs and 4 AAAs - six AAs going to wireless mice with two held in reserve for recharging, and one AAA going to a wireless device with three held in reserve for recharging.
