Amazon Customer: Our 16w old puppy goes bananas for this thing. We give him all his dry food meals sprinkled on it and he absolutely loves snuffling all over for 15-20 mins each time. Get to keep him busy and distracted when we eat our own meals.

yesenia wells-ortizyesenia wells-ortiz: I like it keep my dogs entertained, I would not recommend to leave it with dogs playing alone because it can get chewed.

Katherine Abercrombie: Bought for my two cats as they go mad for treats, so this both slows them down and provides enrichments as they 'hunt' through it. Even without treats my girl will practice pouncing on it and play, she absolutely loves it!

parus: We got the snuffle mat after our puppy trainer told us about it. Before this our puppy would gobble down his food in 60 seconds flat, which we felt wasn't right.
However, now when we feed him using the snuffle mat not only does he eat slowly, but it also provides him an opportunity to use his senses and find food that is great for his mental stimulation and enrichment.

Nicky: Tbh when this first arrived it looked awful I didn’t think it would be much use but my pup loves it!!
It’s definitely slowed down her ability to gulp down her meals. She still goes crazy but has to work for it much more.
You do need to supervise though because once she runs out of kibble or can’t find any she starts to tear at the strips, and there not that robust, then tries to eat them.
It does slide a bit but this was solved by putting it on a little door mat which it sticks to very well.
Overall she’s happy so I’m happy.

SRLS: So I bought this on a whim about 4 or so weeks ago so this is my thoughts so far.
Pros: Easy to use. I put yeast pills or small treats among the "fingers" so give my doggie a bit of challenge. He does dig from time to time and if he is in a chewing mood, he can tear apart those hard to rip apart toys in about a week or two, but he does neither with this toy. I do actually close the opening about halfway to provide a bit more challenge and the toy is still in very good shape. Note: He is adult dog, not a puppy, so we are well beyond the teething/rip everything apart stage.
Cons: It's not particularly fluffy and the "fingers" tend to clump together so he was able to figure things out within seconds.
Conclusion: He does really like this toy and associates it with treats/meds (he isn't a bad med taker) so I use it daily. Prior to this, I just hid the treats in a wadded up towel and I'm not sure this toy is a step up from that, but it's reasonable cute and I don't regret buying it.

strawberryParadise: I bought this for my puppy after seeing people use snuffle mats for canine enrichment. He was also in a weird picky eating phase and wouldn’t eat food out of a bowl, so I bought this to see if it’d help.
Well, the first few tries were a dud. Was not interested. I put in a few pieces of high reward treats in with his kibs and he got more interested and now forages for his food.
But it’s not really that great. It’s something you could easily make at home and I probably should have or just put kibs in a scrunched up sheet and have him forage that way.
We hardly ever use it. He enjoys treat dispensing toys much more. He likes moving around to get his food and is much more engaged with a dispensing toy. It’s almost much harder for him.
If your dog is food motivated, your dog will most likely enjoy this. My dog also has been to a nose training class and does a couple of puzzles, so he knows the “find it” command. Using this snuffle mat was easy for him. Maybe too easy.
If you want your dog to engage their nose, this is a good place to start.
But I do not recommend this for chewers and destructive players. My pup has a soft mouth...

Rachel D.: When I have to leave my puppy I put her dry food in this to keep her occupied. Age enjoys the challenge and the item is well made and withstands puppy teeth and doesn’t move around at all. Highly recommend!!
