Taylor EykingTaylor Eyking: I have to say when I opened up the box and immediately seen mold I wasn’t very happy. However, the lights themselves were relatively easy to assemble, have good height / reach. Pretty easy to tear down and put away. I recommend doing something so the product doesn’t show up like this though. It’s pretty gross opening up something like this and having mold on it when the price tag is above $100.

GoodFindsDaily: I bought this to do self tapes/ auditions at home; this set works great for a budget friendly home setup for self tape auditions. The quality of the items is great too! I love the soft box stands because they are easily adjustable in terms of the height and angle.

My only critique is that there is no way to adjust the intensity of the light = you have to constantly test the light and move it here or there, turn the head up or down, or away from you to adjust the light intensity. Haven't tried the reflectors yet since I don't need them.

Spinach P.Spinach P.: I like the lights. Easy to assemble. I wish there was a way to adjust the brightness however for this price these are perfect. One of the light covers in my order came with a stain (see pics) but these work just fine for what I need a few YouTube videos. Also came with the reflector thingy shown in the pictures which was a nice surprise. Wish everything was so crumpled because I’m not sure if I can steam the wrinkles out but otherwise I say it’s good value for your money. Definitely a better deal than buying a ring light in my opinion. Also when I first turned the lights on one of the bulbs was dimmer than the other so parts weren’t lighting up but after turning it off and on a few times it kicked in just as bright as the other one. Not sure how long these will last or where I can find bulb replacements.

BCToyotaGuyBCToyotaGuy: I purchased these lights for my office studio, and straight out of the box, the quality is surprising. The tripod, while light duty, is sturdy. The fasteners and clamps don't feel like they're going to break like some other lights. Another plus is that they don't feel overly tippy. I did purchase some sandbags in case of this, and it looks like I won't really need them all that much. Light output is OK--they're not super bright, but what do you expect? The box itself feels again like good quality. The arms snap into place nicely. The socket is made of thick plastic that feels solid and not cheap. Considering I bought a Neewer 24x24 softbox back in March 2020 for the same price as these two lights, these are a steal.
