Big W: I could not find the AC leak on my 06 Ram 2500 until I bought this. It found the leak very quickly and I had it repaired in a day or so.

TAG: Before I spent any money on R-22 freon that's about the price of gold, first wanted to check my home AC unit for any leaks that is unit did very well. The only leak I found with this device was the propane bottle in my barbecue unit.

Mikey B: I dunno what to say. I put it into my ac low side service port and it beeps. I put it next to my water pump it also beeped once lol. Water pump isn’t even close to any ac lines or compressor etc. It does detect Freon as my mechanic sprayed Freon near it in the air and it went off but it also gave false positives by my water pump as if it mistook heat or antifreeze smell for Freon. I don’t know if my ac service port is leaking Freon or not now because of the false positives. I’ll keep it as a toy to help diagnose it but it doesn’t seem as accurate as everyone says. I also turned down the sensitivity button and once I got a beep and once I didn’t by the water pump. I’m gong to try it with the engine cold and see if same thing happens.

Andy Engel: This well priced device is the cat's meow for detecting refrigerant leaks in your vehicle, home aircon unit, refrigerator, or freezer. I bought it to check my vehicles a/c compressor shaft seal before re-charging the system with gas. That compressor DID have a small leak which resolved itself after running it for a couple of hours with a fresh charge of gas.

Camping in Dark: Very good price Freon gas leak tester. But not very sensitive. Need to move the testing head very close to leaking test value. But it still working for DIY simple test.

Glen: I loved the product but unfortunately due to the rapid declining poor customer service i have decided to cancel my account I habe slways felt that the best customer service I habe ever had was with Amazon but recent transaction has left a horrible scar and I hope nobody else endures this but if you shop here like I did you will soon find out that this once small company that I bive built their trillion dollar company from what I considered the best customer serviced I have ever had now do not need to meet those expectations. Way to go Amazon. Likely this will not get posted because Amazon will want to let people find out the hard way so if not I will find another way to voice my opinion and if it does get posted it just a warning for anyone who has been long time customer
