Eliminate Cat Hairballs with Licks Hairball Remedy for Cats

Kalianna: After reading some of the reviews I wasn't so sure my finicky cat would like Licks but lo and behold! she licks Licks right out of the packet and any that gets on my fingers into the bargain! I'm using it as a preventative measure so not so sure about the effectiveness yet but gave it five stars on that due to the ingredients. I'd recommend this product on account main thing is to get your cat to eat it!

LH: My cat has big problems with hairballs. I have tried all kinds of supplements and treats for him including CatLax, with limited success. When CatLax became unavailable for a long period, I started looking for a replacement. Most of the the products on the market contain petrolatum (think Vaseline) or mineral oil. I don’t think my cat should be eating petroleum products or mineral oil. I found Licks hairball remedy. It contains beeswax, cod liver oil, and flax seed oil. Three healthy ingredients. He is very picky and I had a hard time getting him started on it. He won’t take it from my finger or his paw. It is also quite messy to do that. If your cat likes it that way, good. I keep the packets in the refrigerator and squeeze one in his wet food. That is working well. He has not coughed up or vomited a hairball in over a month. Licks are expensive, but I’m happy to have found something that works.

ADDENDUM: I recently received an order of the hairball remedy that had only beeswax in it and no brown portion (the yellow beeswax usually squirts out next to the other). I notified the company and they sent a new box right away. Unfortunately, this box...

RoseRose: I love that my Luna no longer gags for 20 painful minutes to produce a tightly wound snake of hair. It was awful. Then her stomach would spasm for hours. I started putting Licks in her wet food, every day, and we are nearing 6- months, and she had just 1small episode. This little girl is living proof how well Licks works.

Yes, it’s expensive but the ingredients are cleaner. She wouldn’t touch her food with the others I tried.

And, she is so much happier. A few days before she would bring one up, she was grossly uncomfortable and you could hear her stomach growl from across a room! She has none of that anymore. We are both happier!

F. Kanoa: Poor cat had such horrible hairballs that we had to play the game: hairball or dog poop? Yeah, super fun. I hate the crunchy hairball treats because they really aren't effective at all. Saw this and bought it almost immediately.

The cat absolutely will not eat this from her paw or bowl. If you top her wet food with it, she will not eat. I have to mix it thoroughly into her wet food to get her to eat it. It's 100% worth it though because the hairballs have stopped! I only give this to her every 3-4 days, sometimes once a week. Dear gods the lack of hairballs is amazing. Buy this now! Figure out how to convince your cat to eat it and enjoy the results!

Tondelayo Gamble: I've used this product for years but the pet supply stores have stopped selling it this is why I ordered from Amazon. How disappointed was I when I opened a pack only to see a bright orange ( not brown and odorless) substance with a horrible smell. Wondering if it's spoiled or something but I didn't give it to my cat. I took all packs out of the box and threw it out before I realized something was wrong so I can't return it. Very disappointed and out $30!
