Elevate Your Christmas Tree with a Festive Tree Topper Holder

ES: I was excited to buy this tree topper holder as I have been wishing for a long time to get a bigger angel or star for my faux tree. I liked the versatility of this product too. Upon receipt, I tried to put the pieces together for an angel. I carefully studied the instructions and watched the assembly video several times. I could not get the device together and sturdy to my preference. I had to enlist the help of my husband. He got it done in about 30 seconds. It's still not as sturdy as I would like, but it will get the job done.
I get it was my user error in this case, but am still not happy I could not get it done by myself. It was humiliating and frustrating. I do not consider myself unintelligent. I have always loved science and math and have a college education.
I cannot imagine putting this together when it's time for Christmas decorating. That's stressful enough (as I do it all by myself!) and I will keep this assembled tree topper support together in my Christmas decor closet. I will update this review after I put my tree together during last week of November.

Missy N: I like the idea of this but I bought it after our tree was up. I hope it will work better next year when I put it on before I decorate the tree. Both of our trees have heavy stars on them we'll see.

Amazon Customer: Have you ever purchased something and then wondered how you ever got along without it? This is one of those items. I had seen these in the past and debated purchasing, but for one reason or another always decided against it. Well, this past holiday season I finally decided to purchase, and it was a great decision. This made placing the tree topper on our Christmas tree easier than ever! Not only was it easy, but it remained straight and upright for the entire holiday season! A little bit of an indulgence due to the price, but it definitely makes decorating your Christmas tree a lot easier. One tip I learned, if you have an artificial tree that goes together in sections, is to add this to the top section before putting the top section on the rest of the tree. The same is true when taking your tree down at the end of the season, remove the top section and then remove this device - it's a lot easier to do when you aren't on a stepladder. A little expensive for something that you only use for a couple of months out of the year, but worth it for making this part of decorating very easy.

G. Low: We couldn’t get our angel tree topper to sit on top of the faux tree properly. I saw this item on Amazon and ordered it immediately. I suggested to my husband that he put the gadget on before assembling the tree. I think it would have been tricky to put it on the tree that is 7 1/2’ tall after putting the tree together. I also suggested leaving it on the tree for next year.

It solved a problem we've been dealing with for few years. I was ashamed of my janky crooked star on our Christmas tree. The tree looked like it had a fondness for the barleyjuice.
But, with this topper holder, our Christmas tree can stand tall and proud and hold aloft the star in glorious radiance...because it will be completely vertical for a change.

It's really neat how it adapts to numerous styles of topper bases, so we're not limited to seeking out one particular style. We can use any star, angel, Santa, pickle, or whatever we want from now on.

***There is only one negative, or maybe just a cautionary warning: The spiral/corkscrew apparatus screws into a metal barrel nut wich holds the actual topper adapter. BE EXTRA CAREFUL IF YOU EVER HAVE TO SEPARATE THE BARREL NUT FROM THE SPIRAL, BECAUSE THERE'S A PLASTIC PIECE INSIDE THE BARREL NUT THAT WILL FALL OUT AND CHRISTMAS WILL BE OVER BEFORE YOU FIND THE THING. That plastic piece is the one thing that allows the topper to be adjusted and straightened. Don't lose it. It'll ruin Christmas.

If you don't have crazy kittens then this is perfect and sturdy.

It was our kittens first Christmas so we had to secure the base of our star to the fake tree for extra stability, which made it completely immovable / indestructible.

braberley: Works great but it really should have proper instructions on how to mount it in your tree. Took me a while to figure it out so I deducted one star. I guess I'm not as smart as the other people here since nobody else seemed to complain about this. :)

Ian Knight: It fits on the tree as advertised, I would have given 5 stars if the cone attachment for the top was longer and wider diameter. Maybe I just have an oversized angel for my tree! Came with 3 different attachments for different style tree toppers.

FundyGrlFundyGrl: I have a new artificial tree this year. It is a gorgeous, full tree, but unlike my old one, you can’t manipulate the branches as well. There was nothing sturdy enough at the top to hook my star to. The star is heavy, and I tried everything to hold it in place. I even resorted to sticks and twist ties. The star kept leaning forward and sideways more all the time. It looked horrible! I found this invention on Amazon, and it arrived at my door in just a couple of days. It went on easily. I love that the top tilts, so you can easily straighten your topper once it’s in place. It comes with a few different attachments to accommodate different style toppers. An AWESOME invention!
