Brian D.Brian D.: Disclaimer this is my third Elegoo Printer

Love this printer and my experience with Elegoo tech support is phenomenal. From un-boxing to printing was less than twenty minutes. That included unpacking, making sure the protective films were all removed, leveling the print plate, transferring the software to a new thumb drive and filling the vat.

I prefer using Lychee to slice prints and have had better results than using chitubox. I also had a lot of elegoo standard resin and was more than happy with the level of detail. So, no need to chuck out the regular stuff you have to buy the more expensive resin.

I have only one minor complaint and that is the thumb drives supplied with ANY resin printer are iffy at best, find an inexpensive thumb drive and add it to your order. Copy off the files on the supplied one and toss it.
Elegoo will bend over backwards trying to make good on any issues, they were fast to replace a screen, but I still had issues and it turned out to be the memory stick.

Bryan: I have a love/hate relationship with Elegoo printers. I love certain aspect of them like transition layers and the ability to alter exposure settings directly on the printer mid print. On the other hand I absolutely hate the ball socket build plate leveling (so easy to knock out of alignment) and their inability to print reliably out of the box in my room temperature environment.

I fought tooth and nail with my original model Saturn trying track down why I couldn't get it to print reliably. It took me about a month of troubleshooting everything I could think of to work out that the issues I was experiencing were temperature related and that the printer would require a heater and thermostat unit to function. This Saturn S immediately showed the same issues out of the box. I don't know what it is about my environment and this line of printers that causes such and issue. Ambient room temperature in my print area averages 78-80°F so it's fairly warm compared to where some people are printing. Regardless of that, I absolutely have to get the internal temperature of both of my Saturns to a minimum of 27°C and maintain that temperature for 30 minutes for them to print reliably...

Deborah McBride: I upgraded from a 2 year old elegoo printer mainly because I wanted to print larger models. This one exceeded all expectations. Great detail and covers all my needs. It was packaged well, setup was fast and trouble free, and factory settings add software was dead on. The only suggestions I would give elegoo is to upgrade the flash drive included because every difficulty I encounter was because of the eradic behavior of the low quality flash drive. I replaced it with another one to transfer files to the printer and everything works flawlessly. Elegoo should do better with the included manual/instructions by remembering many purchasers are inexperienced with 3d printing and their instructions are vague and obviously not authored by a person very fluent in English.

Marco Martinez: Llevo años imprimiendo en inpreoras de filamentos PLA. Decidí comprar está impresora para imprimir miniaturas y partes pequeñas.
En corto, necesitas mucho espacio, muy buena ventilación y el centro de curado y lavado para poder aprovechar está compra.
No es tan fácil imprimir ya que no puedes ver fácilmente lo que estás imprimiendo y el mantenimiento y manejo de resinas tóxicas es algo que tienes considerar.

John PruntyJohn Prunty: -Updated- After my experience I moved on and did not expect to hear from Elegoo. I was surprised when they contacted me and stated that they wanted to make things right. They sent me a Saturn and compensation resin and I told them I would give it one more try. I went through the set up process, leveled the bed, tested the LCD, and tried out the printer. After my previous failures I was able to print the Rook Test prints to satisfaction. I notified their product support staff and am posting this here. While my previous experience was bad, I am truly appreciative that Elegoo sought me out after the fact and went out of their way to make things right. They could have easily left me behind and move on to the next customer. I am going to change my Overall rating from 2 Stars to 4 Stars because of their effort to make things right. I am withholding only one star because of the previous experience. After experiencing their product there a a few features I find superior to other brands and I feel I should mention them. First the plate is angled allowing resin to drip off more cleanly as opposed to some flat plates that allow the resin to pool at the top (makes for more cleaning). This may...
