The ELEGOO Mars 2 Mono MSLA 3D Printer is the perfect choice for 3D printing enthusiasts. Featuring a 6.08 inch 2K Monochrome LCD, printing size of 129x80x150mm/5.1x3.1x5.9inch, and a UV photocuring LCD resin, this 3D printer is known for its easy to use controls, build quality, and print quality. The 6.08-inch monochrome LCD offers 2K HD resolution to enhance printing efficiency, while the light source provides even UV light emissions for detailed prints. Plus, it's made of CNC machined aluminum for extended durability.W. Richman: Highly recommended! Elegoo has thoughtfully included everything you need to get started (except the resin). It comes with hex wrenches to adjust the build plate height, some flush-cut snippers to remove supports, plastic and metal scrapers, a few pairs of rubber gloves, some filters (for filtering out any stray pieces when you pour the resin back in the bottle), and a USB stick with the Chitubox software installer, instruction manuals, and a sample file that you can print right away. So far, I've printed half a dozen fantasy figures downloaded and/or purchased from My Mini Factory, and except for one batch that came loose from the build plate (probably from my poor choice of support configuration) it's been flawless. The detail is amazing; I don't know if I could tell the difference if you showed me an injection-molded figure next to one printed on this machine. I've used my homemade FDM printer for many years, and the big (1 meter x 1 meter x 800mm or so) FDM printer at work for a few years. I'm trying to get them to dip their toe in SLA part prototyping, and I finally just got sick of waiting and bought this myself for home. I've been enjoying using it, and I've used some of the...

Kennedad: I have been FDM printing for awhile now and wanted to "up my game" by getting a SLA printer. While I was familiar with 3d printing and slicing, I was not familiar with resin or resin printers so I decided to get an "entry level" model. After about a month of use and about 20 prints, I wanted to share my experience with others who are looking at this printer.
One thing to note: I have only used Elegoo brand resin (transparent, transparent red, and ABS like Gray) and I have used both the exposure recommendations on the bottle and the ones loaded into Chitubox for this model printer. I have also used settings in between to try and find tune and prevent failures to little success.
Pros
- Easy to setup. Coming from an Ender 3 that you pretty much have to build and tune, this one is pretty ready to use out of the box after a couple of calibration steps
- Nice quality prints. If you can get through the exhaustive process of finding good internet documentation on different resins and layer times, it actually makes really good prints
- Good slicer software, especially for support. ChituBox is a really good, entry level slicer software and you can get as detailed as...
