Daniel Aragon: En general ha sido una grata experiencia y he podido aprender mucho sobre impresion 3D con este modelo, hay un detalle que el manual tiene invertido a la hora de nivelar la placa de construccion que causo un poco de problemas al principio, sin embargo, hay bastante informacion en internet y mucha gente en la comunidad con este modelo que pueden ayudar con facilidad

JRSJRS: Update - 8/29/23 - I ended up not having a chance to really troubleshoot my issues with the printer after getting it. I got frustrated with the failure of the FEP, then our family moved and it was packed away for nearly a year, and I just didn't have time to mess around with it to get it figured out. I was just about to give up and give it to someone who had more time to getting it working, but decided to try one last time to get it to work. I'm glad I did! It turns out that the resin I had started using initially was a resin that, while it sort of worked in this printer, it was made for a specific brand of printer that operated a little bit differently than the Mars 3. The information on the resin was lacking, and I hadn't realized it, and it caused the resin that was partially cured to overheat while printing, which is what caused the FEP failure. Once I realized it might have been the resin, I switched back to some Sunlu resin I had still, and not only did it succeed with a print, I've had about 15 successful prints since, with the only failure being a pre-supported model that had an issue with the base (so it was the stl file and not the printer that caused the issue). GramboGrambo: When the Mars 2 Pro works, it boy does it ever do a great job! Expect failed prints, but when it works, the prints are amazing! There is a learning curve. You have to learn to follow their (sometimes shaky) instructions precisely. If you do, look at my picture. This what the printer can do, and it is amazing! Follow the instructions. Yes, they read like a Japanese stereo manual. They are a Japanese company, after all. They do have a library of videos to help you with problems. Part of the learning curve.

Clean up after every print. Buy a few gallons of anhydrous alcohol (99% or better, available on Amazon, of course) for cleanup. REUSE YOUR ALCOHOL! Put it in a clear jar and leave it in the sun a day or two, or buy a curing chamber and do it the convenient (and slow) way.

The printer died after 2 months. I had a rocky start with Support. The LCD died. When I replaced it (following their video exactly) after a few tries the new LCD works perfectly. There were other problems. Support tonight informed me they are shipping a replacement printer.

I was using the printer to print fabulous items like pictures for my family. With the new printer I can finish printing...

Benjamin A.Benjamin A.: Schon immer habe ich mit der Möglichkeit geliebäugelt, mir meine Minis selber zu drucken und die teils horrenden Preise von Herstellern wie GW zu übergehen. Daher habe ich mir nach einiger Recherche den Mars 2 Pro zugelegt. Den Kauf habe ich nicht bereut.

Pluspunkte:
+ sehr Einsteigerfreundlich (Durch die idiotensichere Anleitung hat man den Drucker im Nu aufgesetzt und kann loslegen)
+ Beilagen wie extra FEP-Blätter, Spachtel, Inbusschlüssel und USB-Stick
+ Super Druckqualität. Schon ausreichend detailliert bei 0,4 mm Schichtdicke (Siehe Bilder. Habe das Water-Washable Resin von Elegoo genutzt).
+ Auch Miniaturen im 10 mm Maßstab stehen ihren 32 mm Verwandten in der Druckquali in nichts nach.
+ Einfache Wartung
+ Super Kundenservice von Elegoo, die auch nach Ablauf der Garantie sehr kulant kostenlose Ersatzteile liefern.

Minuspunkte:
- etwas geräuschintensiv (man hört ihn ein wenig durch eine geschlossene Tür)
- leichte Resin-Geruchsentwicklung trotz Filtereinheit (besser in einem extra Raum platzieren)

SchnitzelfarmSchnitzelfarm: Ich habe mich mit 3D Druck schon etwas länger beschäftigt, aber war mir nie sicher welche Drucktechnologie ich kaufen sollte. FDM oder doch ehr SLA. Letzten Samstag um ca. 2 Uhr in der Nacht und einige besuchen auf diversen Seiten sowie Videos auf YouTube über 3D Druck stöbernd (was man halt sonst so um die Uhrzeit macht), sind mir viele positive Berichte über den ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro mSLA Drucker aufgefallen.

Den Drucker fand ich dann auf Amazon und nach den vielen positiven Berichten im WWW sowie bei dem Preis, habe ich entsprechend zugeschlagen.
Zusätzlich habe ich mir gleich als Zubehör bestellt:
- eine zweite Druckplatte
- zwei zusätzliche Harzbehälter
- Ersatz FEP Filme für die Harzbehälter
- zwei 1kg Flaschen Harz
- sowie eine UV Leuchtkammer zum Härten

Das Zubehör welches dem Mars 2 Pro dabei liegt, umfasst bereits alles was man zum Ersten Druck (außer Harz natürlich) benötigt. Ich habe einfach, weil ich mir sicher war ein gutes Produkt gekauft zu haben, bereits Zubehör mit bestellt.

Der Aufbau war wirklich einfach. Nach ca. 15 Minuten stand der M2P kalibriert auf meinem Tisch.
