Amazon Customer: Bought this 2 years ago but I would recommend not using it like it says, with mascara. I found it more effective to simply curl my clean eye lashes first with it, now I did use hand eyelash curler on them after the electric one & then I applied mascara. This worked for me but this item only lasted 2 years. Won't take a charge now so really not sure it was worth the cost but when it worked it did very much help curl my short lashes well.

Melinda S: This curler is far better than the ones I have used in the past that clamp and curl your lashes (which usually pinch my eyelid). This does take a bit more time to use, but I found the curl to last all day. Ive only used it while already wearing mascara. My concern prior to purchasing was that it would kind of clump your eyelashes together due to the warmth and mascara ..... and it does. Hopefully it will curl as well without having to put mascara on first.

Did everything it is supposed to do. However, the rechargeable battery only lasted (for me) 3 years. I paid over $40 for it! I believe it should have lasted far longer than it did, especially since I doted on it with deliberate care, and followed the directions to the care, maintenance, recharging, and proper storage of it.
I used it daily…and that, IMO, should not be an issue.
Now I have this expensive item I cannot use. I’m disappointed. Thoughts?

DequeshiaDequeshia: Read the directions before use. To be precisely honest - I prep my thin and short lashes with a brush prior to use. Apply initial coat of mascara and utilize the curler following. Then another round of mascara. Does this curler make a difference regardless of the premium mascara utilized YES. Does it take practice to get a good handle of use, YES. It is a great bougie addition to have in my makeup kit. I like it and would recommend to friends. But read the directions and determine which heat setting works best for your needs. Lashes pop all day!
