Richard L. Harris: This is a nice hand blender & a great price too. However, it looked like the box was previously open and a little dirty. Unfortunately, it was the last one and we needed to use it since the other blender broke. It was the same model, which we had for about 2 years and it was a good blender while it lasted. Also, we still have some of the same attachments. We'll see how long this new one lasts.

Juliette: I cannot believe how much I use this thing, despite the fact that I have a high-powered blender. The size is perfect for making sauces and dips quickly.

Overall it's easy to clean but it is frustrating that the black plastic top isn't dishwasher safe (only about 80% of the parts are). I am finding that with the consistent use for the past 4 or 5 months, it is starting to deteriorate in quality a slight amount but still works incredible.

Highly recommend. Even if it does flame out at some point, I would likely purchase again

RIRNRIRN: This immersion blender produced a really nice smooth puree when I made butternut squash soup using rather large slices, not little dice, of squash. I didn’t even need to strain it. So it gets an A plus review for that task. However:
I do think it’s heavy; maybe it has to be to accommodate its powerful motor.
The description on the Amazon website is not accurate. There are only two blades, not four. See photo.
The bottom of the blade protector is not smooth. I would not recommend using it on a non-stick surface.
The egg whisk is flimsy and wobbles. OK for a couple of eggs, maybe a light sauce. Just don’t imagine it will serve as a substitute for a real mixer.
Haven’t really tried the chopper. I did try it on some old-fashion oat flakes, wanting to reduce the size a bit for granola. Result: You can reduce the oat flakes to oat flour, from coarse and mealy to almost fine, but you can’t simply make them just a bit smaller in this chopper.
Finally, I can’t manage to release the assembled bits and pieces for cleaning. Not a deal breaker, but a nuisance.
