Elama Stoneware Mandala Patterned Round Dinnerware Set with Multi-Colored Design

suad campbell: I purchased the blue set. It wasn't until I'd unpacked the dishes that I saw several of the large plates with bumps in the center, and on some, bits of black-pepper-like flakes. Many of the bottoms of the dinner-size plates were rough and some a bit uneven. There were defects barely noticeable on the dessert plates, probably because they are patterened in the center and the dinner plates are not. The mugs were perfectly fine. I didn't have the energy or heart to try to repack the set because, honestly, there was no way I could have packed them properly and fit them in the same box. However, they are very pretty and since I do so little entertaining anymore, the defects are tolerable. I wouldn't advise purchasing these as gifts, because the recipient would most likely be disappointed. Having said all this, you'll laugh because I ordered another set for myself because I'd thrown out my old set and needed more than four settings; also, in order to stack them in the cabinet properly a second set worked better than purchasing a different set that would not sit properly on top of them. Joyce F.Joyce F.: I love the pattern and colors of this tableware. I just received the set and washed and put it away, so I can't speak to the durabiity yet. At first look, they are a nice sturdy stoneware and the colors are very bright. Only one of the dishes has flaw that cannot be sanded, as it is a burr on the eating surface of a dinner plate. I will be contacting the company for a replacement. They also say they offer a one year extended warranty at no cost for writing an Amazon review and registering the set with them, and that they will replace 1 item no questions asked. All in all, I would recommend this tableware, pending the response I get for my replacement dinner plate.
