Ruthie: There is nothing not to like. My grandchildren ages 4,3 and 1 took to it instantly. It was refreshing to watch them create and play imaginatively. I highly recommend this plat set.

Amazon Customer: Bought these for my 13 month old in 2019 and they are now being used by our almost 8-month old daugter. They are a bright, cute, practical and simple toy for gross motor skills and problem solving. My son who is now two and a half has used the blocks to build access to things on his dresser, and my daughter loves chasing the roll which has helped her crawl like a champ on all fours. I'm sure they will continue to be played with for years to come. Expensive up front, but you'll get years worth of play from them. Just wish they were a little heavier, higher density, but I'm happy with this purchase.

Kathryn Giesbrecht: I bought this for my one-year-old niece (with her mother's permission). There had been a suggestion for a climbing toy and the hard plastic ones were too big for inside and too easily damaged if outside. When this set came up in the search, it was the answer I was looking for. The flexibility of design has included the mother lying on her back for a comfortable nap with the bumps and flat parts matching her body curves. It has already been well used in the first six months and the mother can see it being rearranged and used over the next dozen years, or until the next child in our extended family arrives. The price may appear high, but the cost per play hour goes into three generations, making it a very inexpensive, creative apparatus for the developing mind and body.

Also, I was worried that they might have a chemical smell when we opened the box, but it didn’t smell at all. We’d highly recommend these for anyone looking for a fun way to engage your toddler at home, especially in the colder months.
