The 25.4 x 720mm carbon fiber handlebars are lightweight and--after about 100 miles of paved-path riding--seem strong. How they'd withstand aggressive riding is something upon which I can't comment. It should be noted that carbon fiber is brittle, and it would've been helpful had the manufacturer provided torque specs for their installation and for the brake/shift lever installation. Hopefully, torquing 6Nm at the neck and 5Nm at the brake/shift levers is correct--those specs suggested by a Google search on the subject.

I tortured this with my 210lb weight and 760mm width. Reduces vibration over alloy bars and saved me 0.5lb. There is not the aesthetic overlap on weave like >$200 bars, but if you care about that, that's not mountain biking. There is no reason why carbon bars should cost over $200 any more, and these exact bars are rebranded and sold for much more with some name brand. The reality is all these bars from $30 to $200 come from 1-2 factories in Asia.

I bought these to use for light casual trail riding, no jumps or stunts
I believe they are sufficient for that
Considering the cost difference between these and name brand competition I would use for light casual use as I stated. If I was a serious rider like down hill or racing I would spend the $150 on name brand bars. For my use they have been terrific, quality finish, and perfect fitment. I would advise a thin film of friction paste and torque to 5nm equally in a cross pattern
