Chief Minnechuk: Quality cables at a reasonable price. In my shipment there was ALSO a DMX terminator plug and 4 handy velcro cable ties. This isn't mentioned in description. So, it's more of a complete cable KIT than just cables. Recommended!

Red5: I love all things music and cables, these are to connect none powered microphones to a mixing desk for levelling, the sound was audibly the same as a 20foot heavy duty cable however I had some difficulty getting the plugs into the mixing desk, the mic end was easy and clicked in fine but I really had to push them in hard to the desk which I wasn’t that happy doing, they did go in though and came out without any apparent damage.
I’ve used the desk for about 22 years and never had that problem before.

My only other thing was the quality or the feel of quality, there isn’t the weight or thickness to the cables and the metal plug ends feel dry and thin instead of that slick weighty feel you get with an expensive cable. For what it’s used for it does produce the right sound though so can’t complain about that.

Decent price for a bag of them just wish they fit better in the desk

Sarugumo: This is a decent set of XLR patch cables for your home studio or gigging set-up.

The cables look well shielded in the rubber sheath and the plugs look well moulded too.

I have tried these out and there is no excessive crackle or buzz when in use.

These are a staple for most musicians and this an ideal pack to get you up and running or to add to existing cables. They are short at 0.5m, but this is the point of these as you do not want trailing cables in the studio etc.

Well worth considering.

Amazon Customer: Can't comment on durability but I've had literally hundreds of leads over the years so know what to avoid. This normally means poor quality connectors (usually plastic) and stiff cable. This set avoids both of those problems. The connectors are metal and feel positive in operation and the cable is reasonably flexible. Even with short cables I've seen plenty that twist and snag which these don't when they come out the box.

Personally any cable this short is in most cases not an instrument or mic cable, it is a patch cable and that's what most people would assume.
