Nathaniel and Tricia Greer: We use these batteries for our flameless candles. They are easy to use and seem to provide ample power and longevity for their use.

Monkeybutt: As I stated in heading, it’s an investment. I did a lot of research and this brand came up and I’m glad I chose it. We use these from everything from mouse to keyboards to remote controls to remote to just about anything in our household.

I have bought all the sizes and I do have two of the 16 port chargers that this brand works with and so far I have charged the batteries up and put them in a caddy and a month later they’re still holding charge. They seem to have longevity, regardless, whether it’s being active or sitting in a caddy.

As I said, I did a lot of reviews and I wanted something that would take a beating, something that would have long power and decent power when it is active. And most importantly, something that doesn’t die just because of sitting there in a cradle.

Just do your research and realize that it’s gonna cost you more upfront, but changing your household to rechargeable batteries is a long time investment, but worth the value not having to buy and throw away batteries all the time.

Dr. WHO: I recently purchased 6 of these rechargeable, EBL, D size, “10,000 mAh” batteries. I have now run them through 2 complete cycles of “Discharge-Test-Charge” on my IQ338XL AccuPower Charger. The results are Underwhelming. The best battery was able to store 7912 mAh and the worst stored 5130 mAh. That is a dismal 80% and 50% of claimed storage capacity. On average these batteries store less than two thirds of the claimed 10,000 mAhs.
- Lest you think I am a grouch all the time, please see my Enloop AA battery review approx 5 yrs ago where I noted performance superior to advertised claims!
- Sadly, this seems to be the current norm for Chinese batteries and other products. I will continue to search for accurate advertising and for higher value products but this may be “as good as it gets” for now.
- I post less on Amazon now that I have discovered they limit access to some of my reviews. Just saying.
07Nov23: UPDATE - EBL noted my poor review and asked me what they could do for me. I said, 1] improve product or 2] improve advertising claims. They promptly re-contacted with an offer to refund 50% of my money. My reply follows:
- I do not buy rechargeable...

Ivory: A very responsive seller.

I usually buy Tenergy, but decided on EBL this time with D Batteries, but they are not pre-charged. But seem to be holding up thus far after being charged.

Lorraine: Ordered a 6 pack of EBL D rechargeable batteries , and out of the 6, only 3 are taking a charge. The other 3 are dead and will not charge. Ordered these batteries to use in 2 mag lites (3 D batteries each flashlight). I put them all in and they worked , but 3 of them died and won’t even charge on their very first time being recharged. Had these less than 2 months. Unbelievable.

Edit: I contacted EBL directly, and they replaced my bad batteries, with no questions asked. I was sent a new set of replacement batteries within a few days, and their customer service representative even followed up with me, to ask how my replacement batteries were performing. I was incredibly impressed with the way EBL handled this. Thanks EBL!

Michael Huxley: D size battery's came In plastic cases which I didn't expect. Nice touch by the supplier. Came half charged which is good. And fully charged very quickly. Yet to us batteries but it seems I made the right choice.

JH: Second batch I have ordered for my four mole spikes, now have 16 batteries, two for each spike.
Takes a day (24 hours) to charge in the EBL charger, charge lasts for around 20/25 days, hence need for two sets so able to change over without interruption of function of the spikes.
10,000 mAh is the highest rated for a D rechargeable battery that is currently available, supposedly giving 10,000 hours of use, which should equate to 59 days only achieving less than half this at maximum 25 days. As I have now had over five cycles with these batteries fairly accurate assessment.
My mole spikes vibrate every minute so not on a continuous drain and I would therefore expect the length of time a charge lasts to be at least 10K hours.
My thought accept 10000 mAh full charge will only last around 30days maximum. As the temperature reduces over winter I would expect even less from their performance.
EBL rechargeable batteries on independent tests still come highly rated for the price hence would still recommend even with reduced expectation the length of time a full charge lasts.

Mr John H Haynes: Now used batteries for just over a month.
Takes a long time to fully charge four batteries around 8/10 hours. It may be that further charges may reduce this time and durability of time charge lasts may improve.
Using in my sonic mole spikes in the garden have four of them two batteries per spike, on full charge only lasted a month, I was expecting longer life on a full charge for a 10,000mAh battery very disappointed.
I may try another brand buy two rechargeable and see how this compares for durability.
Independent reviews I read suggested EBL was currently the best preforming rechargeable brand, on this result the tests appear skewed.
