Frank/PatriciaFrank/Patricia: Awesome quality, Even better customer service! Highly recommend.

I ordered two hammocks and Amazon shipped them without the rain tarps. I loved the hammocks too much to return so I contacted Easthills Outdoors directly and explained the situation. They were amazing to deal with - all by email - and in a matter of days they shipped out 2 additional complete hammock sets to me for free to make up for the warehouse mistake.

As for the hammocks, they are great! Stitching is high quality, no rips no tears, easy to set up, and super comfy!

matthew matthew : Stitching is fraying in places leading to longevity concerns. Have had only a few days. Additionally small tears have appeared presumably from pine needles getting in - this wouldn’t be an issue if parachute nylon used wasn’t so thin (seems to be half of thickness of Grand Trunk brand name hammock).
Mosquito netting good quality though, and I like the roominess of design. Grateful for the abundance of guy lines. Convenient but likely a disposable if using for multi-day backcountry excursions / mountaineering. You’ll definitely want to buy an under quilt re: mosquitos and be super careful about the smallest puncture from woodland foliage as will tear on you mid-trip - I’ll be purchasing repair tape and expect after a few weeks a good chunk of hammock will be covered due to pine needles.
Would appreciate it if manufacturer would reach out to discuss the aforementioned deficiencies as this was definitely not the cheapest hammock I could have purchased. Quality definitely not worth the price, but functionality is. Hopefully they’ll go with a thicker material in future and better sewing because this product could potentially replace majority of my...

Jason: This hammock is not worth my money that I have spent in it. The zipper rip off the hammock on the first night sleeping in it. I'll never buy this product from this company again.

Matt J.: I'm 6'4" and 270 #'s and I never once felt unsafe sleeping in these for 4 consecutive nights. Once they are set up and attached to your tree's, they are very solid ! Very comfortable. Be sure to watch some vids on how to use the tree straps so you dont fall ! My first set up of hammock, rain fly took about an hour, but I would bet the next time would take me 15 minutes tops now that I know what I need to do.

The very brief directions I feel are off with stating a 8-12 foot distance for your tree spread unless you are a small person. If you are hanging from a monstrous tree with a large diameter maybe 12' would work, but if you hang on say a 6-8 inch diameter tree the first loop to connect your hammock to is almost on the ground I feel like a minimum of 15 feet would be a better starting point because the tree straps are so long(good thing).

The company does have excellent customer service. Amazon shorted me my rain fly and stakes 3 days before I was leaving, but the company stepped up and got them to me in time before I left. Cant thank them enough ! They will take care of any issues.

Small things I really liked. The quick clip into...

N.S: Had this product for the entire 2020 season, and got great use out of it!

The bug net system works really well for the price (I did spend $10 on making some spacers to make it a bit more roomy), and the hammock is comfortable and roomy. I wouldn't sleep 2 people in it, but definitely for laying down it works. The rain fly worked very well regardless of orientation, holding up under some decent strength winds and rain. I did end up snagging the hammock on a branch while packing it up once, ripping a whole in it. For the rest of the season a duct tape patch held it together, until I contacted support and got some excellent advice for a more permanent solution!

It may not be the fanciest hammock money can buy, but it is a steal at this price for an all-in-one system!

Cmiller82Cmiller82: I did quite a bit research on hammocks before buying one. Either you love them or hate them, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money to find out I hated it. I also didn't want to buy something so cheap that I would hate it without giving it a fair try. Hours of reviews and videos later, I landed on this product. I'm extremely happy with the quality. This hammock is worth many times what I paid for it.
Update Sep 22/2020:
I slept two nights in the woods, the first night was cold (3C / 37F). I used a sleeping pad in it and was very comfortable. The next night was warm and humid (16C / 60F) and rained heavily. The netting blocks wind effectively, which was great in the cold, so I left it open and was comfortable. The tarp kept me dry. I was able to pack up all my gear, and then the tarp last, keeping all my gear dry.
Hanging this properly is key to a good sleep. I highly recommend the book "The Ultimate Hang" by Derek Hansen.
I still believe this hammock is great value. I'm never going back to a tent!

blargendarg: I've had some time to evaluate this product, and really the title says it all - the amount of value offered as opposed to what you would pay for a name brand in this space is really solid. If I had to make the purchase over again I would make the same decision. However, there are several things wrong here, some of which I don't see pointed out by other reviews. So on to some pros and cons:

Pros:
-Value, as above.
-Tarp sheds water well, so long as you are not contacting it(more in cons on this).
-The stuff sack that the hammock packs into hangs down next to it when hanging, providing storage for a few things.
-Removable bugnet is handy, versatile, and color coded zippers help with the at-first-perplexing task of reinstallation(take a pic of the zipper position before removal!).
-Hammock material is exceptionally comfortable, breathable and seems strong. I have not gotten anywhere near the max rated weight.
-Double sizing allows the user to fold the hammock in half to facilitate use as a regular chair or lounge chair with back support.
-Tree straps and large biners allow for quick hammock setup and adjustment
-Package provides most...

Bill K.Bill K.: My first foray into hammock camping brought me to this Easthills Outdoor Jungle Explorer Double Camping Hammock. I went with this mid-priced hammock hoping for the best and I was not disappointed.

Set up was quick and easy. The daisy chain suspension system is sturdy and easy to loop around a tree. The straps minimize impact on tree bark as well. Included aluminum carabiners are light in weight and just large enough to be effective. The netting hangs from two included elastic lines.

The breathable taffeta fabric is sturdy, soft and pliable, contouring to create a slightly bowed sleep deck. I found it extremely comfortable. The stability of the hammock was remarkable, no matter the occupant’s laying, or sitting, position.

The waterproof rain tarp features several loops providing the option for various arrangements. My first night out brought a thunderstorm and subsequent downpour. Happily, the tarp was large enough to sufficiently cover the hammock and keep my pack underneath. The carabiner connection made for a suitable drip line. The entire hammock and gear stayed dry throughout.

The interior features two water-repellent hanging...
