This rice cereal has been perfect for our infant from about 3months up to present (6 months). We checked with our doctor first; which is recomended since babies can be at different stages. Since our baby was going more to bottle but needed some extra weight this was perfect for him. He is in the 95th percentile now even though he was a premature birth. That being said, he is a great eater and of course communictes this well. This product is very easy to mix with baby food which my wife does. We start with veggies because they are not sweet. If you start mixing this with the fruit baby food they will be accustomed to the sweet taste and not want to eat the vegetables, but both are important so we do so in that order. The cereal mixes well with the baby food and a little of the baby formula, we heat it and woila! This guy loves eating and he actually cries for more.
The residue in the baby bowl is easy to clean. The texture of the cereal is perfect for baby. We've tried it and it doesn't taste much like anything but flour unless you add the flavor from the baby food. The one drawback, although I will cost it a star is the opening for pouring. Best brand of baby cereal, but that's my unbiased opinion. My oldest was raised on Happy Baby/Tot and Plum Organics as well as Earth's Best. They make the best baby food when I'm not making it myself. Got it at a reasonable price and came out to Japan quickly; beneficial for having Amazon Prime out here. I don't get the 2 day shipping for obvious reasons, but the free shipping is nice. If there was a subscribe and save, I'd hop on it like a cat on a canary!

My 4 month old loves it and it is a great gateway into solids. I started mixing it with formula, but it gives the cereal a strong taste, so I switched to either water or breast milk and he loves it! It is a great food to teach him how to eat from a spoon. Since he is not on veggies yet, and this is made from rice, it does dry her tummy, so I only feed it to him every other day.
