The Pet Coach: These are excellent poop bags, they feel thick, are easy to find the end and open, and don't have a fragrance at all.
I don't want to risk the dreaded 'poo finger' you sometimes experience with thin dog waste bags, and the fact that these are eco-friendly means less plastic in the world.
The colour is neutral and you get a lot on the roll.

Linda Acosta: not only do I no longer worry about tearing but these tie up nicely so if your dog decides to go again, I can easily untie and use for a second time (I have a small dog so I'm far from worrying about it overfilling). nice and thin too so I'm confident it is degrading with the rest of my garbage.

Learning to walk: I have bought many different brands and types of bags and most recently the biodegradable made from corn types are gaining in popularity. I can definitely see why and though many buy these over plastic ones these are actually nicer to handle as well. I find them worth their price and have already reordered either three or four times! The bags are so smooth, open easily another plus over the plastic ones. They dont leak and they contain the smell of their contents. Actually they seem to have a little bit of “stretch” in them which makes for easier tying the bag once filled. I am going to order another refill of these. They come in an easy to open box which opens easy as well as stays closed after retrieving a roll. Prevents finding rolls scattered and spilled among other loose items in the utility closet.

LBLB: I bet these bags are perfect for dog scoop-ups, but not so much for cat litter... unless you have a super clean cat, and don't need the bag to stay open except for the initial scoop into the bag. Over here, I need the bag to stay open a little as I gather the pieces she's knocked around while making sure everything is well buried, and then while I brush the bits of litter from my mini dust pan to keep the area clean. That's the routine and this bag doesn't stay open for any of it. They just lay flat. I do love that they are compostable, they just aren't as functional. Also, they are a little smaller than advertised. I don't know if there's just some inconsistency in sizing, but I measured a few and the width was less than 9"... more around 8-5/8". I actually preferred the 11 x 13 size. Anyway, I called the good people at Earth Rated to discuss options, and learned that their 7 x 13.5 bags with handles have a gusset at the bottom... and that gusset opens up so that the bag functions more like the original 11 x 13 bags... and they do!! So that's what I'll be switching to next! Fyi, the 7 x 13.5 bags with handles are not compostable, so if that's your first priority, or if you are...

Codey & Nikki: These are wonderful poop bags, and I feel better using them since they're compostable.
I haven't had any issues with quality or tearing as long as I make sure the tear them along the perforations ( if you try tearing them too far away you WILL rip the bag ) but the one big problem I have with them is how poorly they trap the smell of the waste.
The bags do trap the smell when you first tie them off, but I toss the bags in a small trash can until curbside pickup ( because I don't want to accidentally smoosh dog poop in my outside bin ) and the smell is absolutely gag–worthy after even a couple of days.
This isn't enough to stop me from buying the bags, since I'm sure it's just the nature of compostable bags in the middle of summer, but I felt like it's something you should be aware of if you're using these bags at home.

Tina: These are well made - sturdy enough to put up with your biggest doggy donations. They are scentless which is nice, and do a decent job blocking the smell of deposits. I love that these are said to be compostable - which makes me feel better about using them.
