Jon: Loved the idea. But everyone of them ripped when handling the poop. Had to double bag every single time. No long nails, but Great Dane sized poop.

Gloria Thompson: The bags were nice and big, however, extremely thin. As i use them cleaning out the poop from the litter (multi-cat). I find just a bit to flimsy. I have to double them up.

Lbooks: First poop bag that I have used that doesn’t at one time or another rips when you try to release from the roll. With the handle on these bags it is so easy to tie it while still holding on to two leashes!

Chrystal: I bought these as an environmentally conscious way to line my Arm & Hammer pooper scooper. Reading the reviews I was unsure what I'd get; however, the bags seem to be holding up well and there have been no issues with seams of the bag or ripping at the handles. The only thing I have to say is when you first get the bags and remove the sticker holding them in a roll you do have to be careful so as not to rip the bag the sticker is attached to.

We have two dogs, and an indoor-only cat. I scoop up a lot of poop around here, and go through quite a few plastic grocery bags.
After seeing a short video on a social media site about the plastic trash “islands” out in the oceans, and how plastic grocery bags do such damage to marine life, I sat and thought about how many we actually use and toss away. I’d not given it a lot of thought before because, at least, I was using each grocery bag more than once. Once to bring the groceries home and then again as trash bags for small cans, to pick up dog poop in the yard, and to dump the used cat litter after daily scooping.
But they’re still plastic bags that, hopefully, end up in the land fill. They still could end up in the local bodies of water, rivers, and streams.
How could I use less?
I went in search of. Considering those grocery bags are “free,” I wanted something that was economical (we’re not made of money), as well as better for the environment. Too many of the pet waste bags are still made of some type of plastic even though they say they’re...
