Amazon Customer: The media could not be loaded. I ordered this tent 2 years ago and never tried it out. I was surprised with how easy it is to put up and down. There is a lot of space to stretch out. There is great air flow because there are so many windows and mesh screens. It’s like an open tent. Great purchase

Brad: This is a pop up tent. You need to curb your expectations. A pop up tent will never be the lightest tent. It will never be the most sturdy tent. It makes some sacrifices to give you ease of setup and take down, and in that category a pop up tent will swamp any other tent.
Is it too heavy? Depends on what you're using it for. Don't take it backpacking, but it is a winner if car camping.
Is it too weak? Again, depends on what you're doing. Don't set it up in an empty field during a windy thunderstorm.
This is a great popup tent in my experience (I have brought it to the park to relax in without worry of sunburns or bugs while reading or playing video games). It got very windy one day, so windy that it was hard to set the tent up without anything blowing away. I did get it set up (without leads or stakes as I wasn't going anywhere) and it did deform quite a bit in the heavy breeze! But, I know what I'm buying, it did exactly what I expected it too.
So, yes, this is a 5-star POPUP TENT. It's not a mobile storm shelter...

It is easy to store, travel with, setup and pack up.

I have a smaller tent, like this, made by Lucky Bums. I purchased it for several of my nephews and a niece and younger cousins, they love it. This one would be just as loved, yet, more useful to adults, as it is quite a bit bigger than the other.
Does it fit 4 people? I don’t think the space is enough for 4 adults; but as for me: it's my wife and child, so there will be enough space for us to use it, together. (See video for sleeping back layout)
I set it up in the rain and it kept the water out, so I think it will be able to handle light to moderate rain. Nothing is totally waterPROOF.
There is more than ample air movement with the windows and doors on both ends. I would recommend--and will probably add it myself--a flap of fabric on the inside of the windows, to add a later of privacy controllable from the inside. Currently, this has to be set before getting into the tent. This outside flap IS important, as it is useful for repelling...

rgrg: I'm a biiiig tent guru, and have tents for every reason, season, and every purpose. I'm used to staying off the beaten path, and have never owned a camper, and probably never will. I have everything from a one-person pop-up tent to a four-room cabin tent. This one is totally different than any tent I have ever had. With all of the moving around we have been doing due to the hurricanes, and going to help people, taking a tent up and down is a pain. This one on the other hand, all you do is throw it out, and fold it up. I cannot say this enough, but take your time when you are folding it up. It took me about 10 minutes the first time to figure it out, and about 10 seconds the second time. Once you figure it out once, you will never have another problem. This tent is large enough for two people, but waaaaay roomy for just myself, was able to withstand some very high winds, and did not leak on me except by the front door where I left it the screen open. That one was my fault. Also, there are seams around the entire tent. They are sealed perfectly! I was actually able to take this and feed my portable air conditioner right out of the window. I was extremely comfortable then. Very glad...

I bought a 4 person tent but its only good for two adult, unless you are very short or have 4 kids in it. I think 4 star is fare rating
