Rosemary: I bought several brands of black queen sized knee high trouser socks in order to find new favorites. All are made from various blends of nylon and spandex. I bought Hue and Berkshire in the past but they are rather expensive. This time I bought Eabern, Sumona and Winterlace in addition to Hue and Berkshire. The winner by far is the Eabern queen sized socks. The Eabern fit the best and were the most comfortable. I could tell that they were great from just looking at them. They are stretchy and have a nice texture. The Sumona are a tad tight but still usable. I'm returning the Winterlace socks as those socks are too small. My knees are around 14" from the ground and 21" diameter and the "one size" socks are never large enough. I always wash trouser socks in the gentle cycle inside of a lingerie bag and they never go in the dryer. Otherwise most trouser socks get runs, holes and shrink. I've only washed one pair of the Eabern socks so far and they came out of the laundry in great shape.

B.&C.L: These are so comfortable and they don't fall down or roll. I have a deformed foot and my legs and feet swell, they still work wonderful. I got the black ones to wear under skirts and they hide varicose veins and scars perfectly while still being just the right 'sheerness' ...if that's a word.

Marie: After reading the reviews I decided to order queen size. They fit me perfectly. I am 1,71 and wear 11.5 shoes. For once, I have real knee high.
Are they opaque? They are more opaque than most, however not as opaque as I wanted.

KellyJo: Beautiful soft feel to them. Nice colour and opaqueness. Would be a perfect 5/5 if they were not soooo long. They fit me like thigh high stockings! I have to roll them to just below my knees then they will start sliding after a couple hours. I can not recommend for someone around my height of 5’4” tall.

TTTT: Pros- Very comfortable and soft. Stay up all day! Fit my large calves. I’m glad I purchased these after shopping around. Cons- I’m 5’6” and they are bit too long. There were about 3 wrinkles around ankle, but nothing dramatic. I actually rolled top of sock over a little (see pic) and fit perfect with no wrinkles and no slippage. The most annoying is that the toe seam slips during the day and ends up partly on bottom. Notables- during wear with tight fit trousers, they “caught” fabric of trousers a little bit every now and then and had to pull legs down. Looser trousers has no problem. Black color is not opaque but is quite dark. You can see sheerness by looking at my toes in picture. Really like these and would purchase again.
