Sparkle: I use this outdoors at home instead of a grill. Heats up really quickly. I like best that it gets hot enough to sear a burger or steak, which the electric grills I've used do not (my condo HOA doesn't allow gas). It also cools really quickly so you can get a nice sear and still a juicy inside - best of both worlds. Best of all, you just wipe it clean and put the pan in the dishwasher, and you're Done!

Pot:
It is ok, but the walls seem a little thin to me: 11” top ID, 9” bottom ID, 4” tall inside. Walls are a little thin (0.033”) but the thickened part at the bottom of the pot adds about 0.263” there. I did not try the pan.
Cooker:
On high, makes a little noise. For me, I hear it mostly from the fan. The Physics Tool Box app on my Iphone-11 tells me about 60 dB at a few feet away, and that there is also is a high-pitched sound at 10 to 20 kHz. I could hear the high-pitched noise somewhat, but I’m 65 years old.
Heats fast, around 2 minutes to bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a flat stainless steel pan with a top on.
It’s a little annoying to me that it only has 10 temperature settings. Overall, it’s ok. A little bulky at 11.5” x 13” x 2.75”, but I don’t know how others measure up. This is my first try at an induction cooker. It was a great deal at $82 for the pot and the cooker on Amazon Marketplace, and it would be pretty nice to have one. I will eventually buy an induction cooker, but maybe another.

Heats up FAST! Timed with the stop watch on my phone, it brought 8 ounces of 60 degree tap water to a boil in just under 1 minute and 21 seconds. That would normally take right around 3 minutes in the microwave. This was accomplished using the 5.7 duxtop cooking pot that came with it as part of the set we purchased.
I learned everything I was hoping to learn from two videos that "Avid Amateur" posted on YouTube about his Duxtop. His follow-up video after 10 months of almost daily use after purchase sealed the deal for me. Nice guy, very thorough and informative.
This is one review I'll certainly update if things go differently, but right now? I'm very pleased with the results.

Kirsten: At my house I do not have a functioning stove top. I had been on the look out for a portable cooktop of some kind to use in place of a normal stove top. I had purchased several other cook tops, all electric or coil heating units. They never really worked well for me. They didnt get very hot, they didnt hold heat well, they couldnt actually boil water, essentially they were garbage. So I started looking around for a better option and that is when I found this AMAZING product. It heats so quickly, it is consistent, reliable, durable, and by far the best cook top I have ever used. Even compared to the stove top that is traditionally used in most places. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a great induction cook top, whether it is in place of a non functional stove top like mine or if you are just looking for an extra cook top to have around the holidays for example so you can cook many things at one time. There was also an amazing pan included with my purchase. Its wonderful for boiling water, cooking large meals or really anything you need.
