Nice quality. Super thick. I have 2 rambunctious dobermans and this is holding up well. Love the gold finishes, but those are already fading. Not a deal breaker, though.

These collars appear very sturdy, and I love the color options offered by the manufacturer. The price point is also attractive. After my experience, I'd recommend sizing down. I measured the necks of my Cockapoo and Berniedoodle dogs before placing the orders. On both occasions, the collars were too large. Even at the tightest setting, I was concerned the dogs' heads would come out of the collar if they were too excited or alarmed by their surroundings. I re-ordered a smaller size from the recommended chart, and the problem was solved. As with any leather or similar material, you should expect the collars to stretch over time.

I ordered a red leather collar and within 24 hours of my dog wearing it the red dye is leaching onto his coat. He's not a very long haired dog so not much protection for his skin against the dye, which being a dye, I assume is toxic. I won't take the risk of the cumulative effect of dye on his skin every day so the collar is useless. I feel there should be a warning with the product or, if you can't dye leather without it leaching during subsequent use, don't produce a dyed product that's going to be in 24hr contact with skin.
