Carol: I use this product for screening drain holes in my plant pots. So not using it for drywall. But it works great for my houseplants and outdoor plant pots. I cut pieces and stick them over the drain holes in my pots (on the inside), then fill the pots with potting mix and the plants. Keeps most of the soil from leaking out as I water. The sticky side helps to keep the pieces in place.
Highly recommend for this purpose.

Pooklet: Don't expect this to be the only step in making small repairs: you will need to buy another product to go with it. I bought this at the same time as some poly filla, and this worked really well with it. I had never attempted to cover cracks and holes before, but this was very easy to use: I layered the tape over the hole, which creates a mesh base to work on, then you go over it with poly filla. The wall looks great; you can't tell there was a hole there!
