Trish: I got these for my 2 small dogs planned on cutting each rib to make separate treats. This is way too hard to cut. Not my sharpest knife or my electric knife couldn't cut through it. It would need a toolman power tool but even if I did do that, the brown gravy type coating peels off in one big piece so each rib wouldn't have any coating. I'm sure my little dogs would have loved it because I do buy other types of treats by this brand but this product is definitely for bigger dogs. If they made it so that it could be cut it would be perfect but I'm NOT going to score this product poorly because it couldn't accommodate my small dogs.
