KKirk: I normally wear an 8-1/2 wide. Since most footwear comes in medium sizes, I go up to a size 9 to accommodate my wider feet. These boots, sadly, fit exactly like an 8-1/2 medium. I am sending these back and hoping I can find them in a size 10 and that it works. These boots would obviously be nicely warm (I'm in an area that regularly gets down to -30F). I like that the uppers were hard rubber so that the ice cleats would fit snuggly without compressing my feet. I'll update this post if the new ones fit right. All in all, they run small.

MJB: No dislikes for now have to wait until I wear them in the snow but I like the inside lining feel soft and with good support. This is a good inexpensive boots I will reccomend.

davidjo: I love these boots, and I wish I could love them even more. However, they are good in SNOW, not RAIN!
Wore them in pure snow, and they were great. Wore them in snow that was starting to get slushy/puddly and they leaked right through.
Otherwise, if you're not going to worry too much about being outside, they will keep your feet and calves very warm, and also very cute!

They fit great though. I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5, but my calves are huge and I sized up to a 9. :)

I’ve only written a few reviews in my OVER 16 YEARS (and probably a zillion dollars later!) as an Amazon member. But I HAD to write one about these “DREAM PAIR” boots, because I’m one of those women who are so UNBELIEVABLY hard to fit, shoe size-wise! I hope this helps some of you who suffer the same un-ending nightmare of “shoe shopping”!

I “usually” wear an 8 1/2 WIDE (sometimes double wide) shoe, depending on the brand and type. Plus, I HAVE to have a pretty high “upper/topline” due to a severely broken foot I suffered during a car accident. I affectionately refer to that foot as my “camel humped” foot. The term “affectionately” is used lightly (AKA sarcastically). Just picture it! Ugh. And when I buy boots of any kind, the boot opening at the top (duh… as opposed to what? The bottom?? LOL) has to be wide enough for me to insert my foot into because of the ol’ camel hump. Again, ugh.

This particular boot search of mine was intended for slopping around in snow, rain, mud, horse manure, etc. as I tend to my horses through the winter months, hopefully without freezing my feet completely off!
