Neika: I love that it is a hardcover book. It also comes with glow in the dark stickers in the back of the book that you can take out. Either a sticker at a time or whole page by the preferated line.

Alexander J: This story from Dr Suess was also published under the title "The green pants." In my opinion age appropriate starting from four years old and up. Most people have heard of Dr Suess but for those who might not be familiar, sentence structure, story and vocabulary are simple and clear, with repetition and variation through the story. This is a picture book, with only a small amount of text on each page. Kids will want to look at the pictures as you read it. Intended to be read several times, perhaps as a bed-time story to help kids settle down.

J: I bought this specifically because it was glow-in-the-dark book, but when I read the story I instantly fell in love with it. I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of pants walking around by themselves, but realized quickly the value of this book in how it teaches about facing fears. This book is great for kids and adults alike, and of course the glowing illustrations make it even more appealing. Even the "cool" kids in the junior high school library I work in are irresistibly drawn to the topic and the use of humour in dealing with true-to-life feelings of fear we can all identify with. This is a great resource for teaching character education at home and in an educational environment. I plan to purchase more copies to share with a few grown-ups I know!
