The problem with the cord is they didn’t make something to keep it in place so whenever you use it you have to put it in the slot on the bottom- pretty annoying. I’m trying duct tape now to keep it in place.

Lise H.: This unit is much quieter than my old grinder and is a nice compact size, yet grinds coffee beans perfectly in less than a minute. Powerful grinder with base grips for stability, easy to use (arthritic hands can manage the lid). Solid unit, great value, highly recommended!

B.H.: Have used 4 times and this thing grinds flaxseed with no problem. Turns to a powder if you want. Did great with peppercorns, as well. Not tried coffee beans yet. Great power so far. Like the size!

Objectify: As the instructions say, 15 to 20 seconds, and no more than 50 grams. Well, for one portion, a smallish palm-full is enough for drip. And somewhere between 15 and 20 seconds will make it fine enough. For coarse, do it for less than 10 seconds, I guess.
The inside of the unit around the blade is weirdly sticky-static??? It’s not non-stick, shall we say, so it won’t fall out cleanly, a whole chunk is left behind there, so you would have to brush it all out, or wash it out under the sink real quick, which is fine.
It’s totally fine for what it is.
