Kathryn: Not a newbie to EOs at all, and not fond of him labelling himself Dr (doctor) when he’s not, not even a doctor of natural medicine, but will admit all within is well-researched and should help anyone wishing to take back their life with EOs for whatever reason or as a first line of defense when combatting whatever ails. They work slow, and like he says, there’s no ‘quick fix’. Respect for the power of a DROP of EO is fundamental at all times. They are highly concentrated so more is not the solution, actually less is truly more. A fun read/listening experience.

Bronz: Wow wow wow wow ! This is definitely a national bestseller!! The way this is written and the amount of effort and knowledge blows my mind. I’m so grateful to the people like this on earth who put their hard work and dedication into making things like this possible. If we just look around and simplify we will see that the smallest simplest things are what we, our bodies, and mental need.

Holistic is the way to go !!!

Amazon Customer: This book helped me understand more about oils and how to use them. It covers the scent of these oils as well as how to combine oils for other uses and safety of doing so. I'm a beginner to oils and found this book most helpful.

Aimee Lunn: I've bought a number of essential oil books over the last few years in the search for a basic understanding of how to use EOs to replace many of the toxic products we use in our home. This book is by FAR the best I've found as it is a comprehensive, easy to follow introduction to using essential oils in the home for personal care products, cleaning products, and to replace many OTC pharmaceuticals. There's a lot of great general information about EOs but also the instructions are clear and the recipes are easy to make. Many of the other books I bought were formatted to list each essential oil with their properties and use (which I found the use part to be vague if you weren't already educated on how to use EOs) whereas this book is more of a general EO introduction along with some fantastic DIY recipes to replace all the toxic products in the modern American household. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this as a perfect starting point for anyone new to DIY essential oil experimenting.

Peccato esista solo la versione in inglese.

John B: The physical book has sub-standard paper consiering the anount oftime one should be open & closed. Lots of information helpful but not enough info on particular oils & their particulars, imho. Lots of the recipes contain some of the most expensive oils & offer no substitue? Neroli, sandalwood, Jasmine & others. Should have how one knows whether oil is good quality/great quality (testing?) & how does one know if it is working for them. Dr Z suggests simple to but does not say how as far as i can tell. Sometimes feels like an attempt to validate his endeavor & excellent research in essential oils. I enjoyed his free web presentations & Mama Z really nails it on all fronts. However, i felt obliged to purchase due to guilt etc cuz of the mission. How do you y'all choose which patients go to clinic on EOAL monies raised? Be nice to know where too. No color pictures of beaitiful plants, oils or anything to reduce boredom as some reading quite dry.
There are lots of recipes out there for free that suggest substitutions before spending $1000's of dollars on oils.
Finally this book does provide much other than some recipes. Some real good info but I feel...
