Smithers1: I love the look of this butter container on our counter. It works great, but I have noticed that over time the lid seems to push up on its own.

The base goes through the dishwasher great and does not get those gray knife marks that a lot of dishes get. We handwash the lid and it has held up great.

dksolutions: I leave my grass fed butter out on my counter but had a dish that was all clear glass and no air tight lid. Every now and then my butter would have a funny smell. After buying this…. My butter is soft but no funny smell. I like that no light can get in as well as the tight lid.

Ashley: We love butter. We go through a lot of butter. We can put the double stick of grass fed butter in with room to spare. You can’t quite stack two of them because it makes it a little too tall to get the lid on. But if I want to stack to you, I just use a knife slice off a little bit of the top and put it down the side because it’ll fit there.

Melanie Gray: Great butter dish with a simple design but looks pretty. As a Canadian the only problem is that it does not fit a whole block of butter and I have to cut the butter in 1/2 to fit but as a smaller household that works better for us.

Steve: Am Anfang war alles super. Der Holzdeckel mit der Gummi-Dichtung saß fest auf dem Porzellan.
Nach ein paar Wochen hat sich der Deckel allerdings verzogen und man kann ihn im geschlossenen Zustand wie eine Wippe auf der Schale hin- und herbewegen. Dadurch ist die Dose nicht mehr luftdicht.
Wir hatten den Deckel bis dahin noch nicht einmal gespült.

Die Dose stand bei uns im Kühlschrank.

Für die Qualität viel zu teuer.
