Prof Francis Tapon: I used to buy these gums many years ago. I stopped buying them when they became less available; or perhaps they were but I did not notice them any more. Thanks to a friend I rediscovered them and now I see how misguided I was to stop buying them. They taste better; last longer; have a better mouth feel. Older is better. Plus I love the brand, Wrigley's. Warren Buffett is right: in 100 years people will still want to chew on Wrigley chewing gum. Now Wrigley is owned by privately-owned Mars and I, as an investor cannot own Wrigley stock. That's a shame.
