Double Din Car Stereo with Apple Carplay and Android Auto Compatibility

Madelaine: We bought this for 2 reasons: to mirror play movies for our kid and to have a backup camera. The camera is pretty decent I suppose for just backing up. The cord provided was NOT long enough to reach straight from the rear camera on our bumper to the stereo on our dash... so that’s a bummer I’ll have to get an extension. Our vehicle is an econoline van so it’s longer than your average car but about the same as a long bed double cab truck. The mirror play setting was a complete joke with my iPhone 8 plugged in. It was so bad like the picture was real skittery and jolty making it impossible to watch any sort of video off the phone. Otherwise it’s alright I suppose... I mean now there seems to be cut outs of the reception and there wasn’t before but maybe that’s because we had to buy and use an antenna extender? Anyway... maybe wouldn’t recommend if you get this and expect the camera cord to reach on your long bed double cab or van... and the iPhone mirroring is dumb because you have to plug it into the usb it’s not an airplay thing and it was useless.

Billy T: Beware if you have a new/newer iPhone the mirrorlink will NOT WORK .. I got this radio for that purpose and after wiring it all up and finishing the install, just to find out my phone will not mirror, I used a brand new legit apple cable and followed all the shady instructions and no go ... so if you wanna use the iPhone and mirror look elsewhere - Ohh unless you have an iPhone 6 😂🤣 very disappointed

Todd G.: I installed this radio in my 2014 Ford Econoline van. A good radio for the price. I purchased the wiring harness to utilize the oem radio connector and soldered the wires to the harness provided with the radio. Also had to purchase an antenna adapter in order to connect the stock vehicle antenna to the radio. Although the provided instructions were a little sketchy, I was able to install the radio with little issues. Good sounding for the cost. Disappointed that the radio will not mirror with the newer iPhone 12...seems like it would be a relatively easy fix from a firmware standpoint. Unit sounds great and works every time with Bluetooth on my phone.

Chris: I'm giving it 5 stars based on its price and comparable options.

It's a no fuss touch screen. The internals are all of maybe an inch deep. I know because I had to strip it down to make sure where I was drillin. The mount kit for my 2014 Versa didn't line up. Tapped new holes measured off the stock head unit.

Wiring was straight forward and I kept the steering wheel volume with one wire. Excellent.

Didn't use camera cause the car is basically a paper weight... but crazy it's an option. And two remotes... one standard, one for the wheel. Didn't need either though.

The unit itself is nothing fancy. But you're not buying it for that. Radio? Check. Bluetooth? Check. Touch screen? Check. Works out of box? Check.

Screen has a little delay, interface is basic, but again... cheeeeeap.

The only thing I don't like is the screen link thing. It's basically wired casting. Which means to have gps up from your phone your phone has to be on and side mounted somewhere, if you lock it or flip it, the screen also locks or flips.

No points off though. Again, for this price, you get a single din ten year old lookin thing, or this.

lekhaj krovi: I gifted this to my dad , he love this. when we went on the family trip we enjoyed watching videos. video quality is amazing and it is like a mini iPad. Phone can be connected either with Bluetooth or cables slo ( cables and memory cards does not come in the kit) . I am not a mechanical person so took to the near by bodyshop for the installation. Most of the apps from the phone can be accessed on this screen. It comes with additional rear camera, the quality of this bac camera is not great but ok. Overall this product is worth purchasing. When compared to the showroom purchase and installation of the product, this is really worth the price.
