sandie cotant: It wasn’t the easiest to install. Best Buy had to do it and it was a little challenging for them. It could be the design of my old vehicle even though it said it was compatible. They could not hook up the back camera. Decent sound. they had to do a custom cut in the installation process. It cost over $300 for installation on top of the cost of the radio but at least it’s done now. Also we can’t get the remote to work. Won’t pair to the stereo. 😔

Amazon Customer: Bought to replace my old head unit, however it did not fit in the metra dash kit I bought.
Its actually closer to 7.1-7.2 inches so it wont fit 7 inch dash kits.
Didnt bother installing it as I had no way to secure it in my car.

ChrisChris: Installation: Their “standard fit” wasn’t so standard. I had to trim around 3/8” from the height and width.
Bluetooth: Connects, but does interact in anyway…….useless.
CarPlay: It works pretty good so far.
Remotes: LOL……LOL….. They do work, once you find batteries for them and point them 5-6 inches away.
Screen Mirror: Another lol, useless….won’t play videos to the screen.
Backup Camera: Works so far, but don’t have a lot of faith in the longevity…..I could be wrong. I wish it had a view anytime feature since I hooked it up that way.
Calling: Clear on booth ends, so that good.
Let’s face it, it’s less than $100. I have CarPlay and a backup camera, so I probably got my moneys worth. I have it install in a 2010 F150 with only 56k miles, so it’s not like it will be used a ton. If I had to do it over again, it would have been a different one and I would have done more research.

Richard Sherman: I messed around with the previous double-DIN adaptor i bought trying to make it fit for so long that the return window closed. Recently Metra came out with an adaptor that looked like it would fit these not-quite-double-DIN-standard Chinese head units. It does, but not without having to do drill and trim new holes for the mounting screws.
Now that it's installed and working here are some impressions.
The good:
- Sound is good both for FM radio reception and for playing off USB drives and TF cards.
- If you hunt long enough under the SETUP icon, you can find the Sound menu. Among other things, there are preset 13 or 15-band equalizer presets along with a customizable EQ. There are also other settings, including one to turn of the loud and annoying BEEP that occurs when you push any of the 'buttons" on the screen.
- Setting presets for radio stations is easy.
The not-so-good:
- Settings are not saved if the unit is removed or if you disconnect your car battery. If you do either of those, you have to go back to setting up the radio from the beginning. Pity that there's not a spot for a coin battery to keep the memory powered.

MikeMike: Not easy to install, but with a little electronic knowledge it is easyish, i had to buy a seperate cover for my car. The velcro wheel remote didnt work, but the handheld did. The backup camera doesent work and shows “No video signal” Ive checked all connections and their installed properly. It shuts off a lot out of the blue after around 20 minutes of driving. Honestly for an aftermarket its good quality and lots of ways to listen to music.
