H. D. Moss: My husband suffers with lower spine problems which means he needs relief at the bottom of his spine. I'd ordered one for myself originally and when he was struggling in the car he borrowed it. It made such a difference to longer car journeys so he now has one in my car and one in his own!

Pamela Knust: I sit when I work, part time now, and I sit in my chair for hours before I get in bed. I was beginning to have some pain on my rear end. I knew if I didn't do something it would turn into a pressure sore. From the first night I used this, no more pain, N.O.N.E .Its actually an oval, with oval hole in the middle. I put in my chair longways front to back to be sure I am 'covering all the bases'. Im so glad I got this. Its not that big, but works for me.

mardy: I crushed my sciatic nerve and needed something to help me sit properly without making it worse. This combined with physio did the trick. It’s comfortable, doesn’t get too hot or too cold, and has helped me sit better when working from home. I don’t sit without it now!

Jay: I have a higher end computer chair that is very comfortable except for the seat of the chair after long periods of time. Working from home 8 hours a day often left my seat area feeling fairly numb. I purchased this donut pillow to alleviate the numbness and it does a good job, however I often have to readjust in my chair as the lack of grip on top of this pillow gradually leads me to sliding down the seat and slouching. If there was an option to have a grippier material on top instead of the soft, velvety material I think that would help with the gradually sliding down the seat I encounter through out the day. Overall, its a good product and how effective it is for you depends in part on the type of chair you want to use it on.

Lew The TV Snob: Bought for an expensive gaming chair. It's smaller than I anticipated however it works a treat. I'd been piling cushions up beforehand but felt like the princess and the pea. Nothing worked, until now. First time in months that I haven't got an achy backside and coccyx. I spend at least 8 hours a day in this chair (not gaming) so the relief is immense. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

lgr: Very comfortable. Has made my body feel better. One problem, there is a smell (odor) that is not very pleasant. I removed the cover and it is not just the cover. I hung the entire donut pillow in an airy place over night. Smell is less but not gone.

Linda D. Hardy: I've lost a lot of weight and now am intimately familiar with my tailbone. This pillow helps decrease the pain of sitting. And it has kept its shape after LOTS of hours of being sat on or reclined in.
I don't like the color--black--but it wouldn't make sense to manufacture a white one, I guess.
My only other change would be its depth; I'd prefer that it be an inch higher and then no part of my backbone would touch down.
I'd recommend it to anyone with a painful tailbone and/or with hemorrhoids. It's NOT soft and squishy, and it shouldn't be; it needs to be sturdy . . . and it is.

Randy M.: Or, at least that's what I thought at first. Okay (sigh), bring it on. I'll try anything, I guess...at this point, I was desperate. This was the most expensive of several similar-looking products, but I figured the more expensive item would mean the most quality seat cushion, right? When it arrived, I thought a mistake had been made. The box was TINY, not nearly big enough to fit a nice, plush seat cushion. I opened the box, and was sure a mistake had been made. It just wasn't thick enough. I had been sitting on TWO seat cushions...one on top of the other, and they had been permanently mashed down, almost literally paper thin. Those two cushions were both highly rated and now they had been reduced to thin, rock-hard pain inducers. How was this thin, little donut-style cushion going to be any different? Oh, well, I guess I’ll just have to go through the hassle of returning it.

Then, I put it on my chair and sat down on it. HOLY MOLY! How could this be? For the first time in nearly a year, I didn't feel any pain while sitting. After a long, pain-free, several hour session at the computer, this little donut bounced right back. Surely, after several more long sessions at the...
