S. VanDeventer: I’ve had painful ischial bursitis for over a year now with little relief. Recently, my husband and I had plans for a month-long road trip but almost canceled because sitting had become so painful - even with a memory foam cushion. Thankfully, my doctor recommended this type of cushion just before we left. This Aylio cushion allows the sits bones to drop down into the sockets and eliminates any pressure on the affected area. I could ride/drive for several hours at a time without discomfort, and sit comfortably in restaurants - even on hard chairs! It’s not a cure, but my condition improved to the point that I often forgot there was a problem!

cj: The socket seat cushion is extremely well made and arrived quickly. I love the holes for sit bones. Unfortunately, for me, the cushion itself is too hard. I'm 5'4" and 110# for reference.

Jeannine Horn: I work for a call center and sit for my whole 8 hr shift. Due to severe spinal issues, my job was becoming increasingly difficult. I was leary of spending this much money on a butt cushion, but Oh boy, it was worth every penny! It has made my job comfortable again and has reduced most of the nerve pain and muscle spams that I was having! It does take a little getting used to, but give it time. Within a week, I could see a huge difference. I will never be without one again!

Horsing Around: From my experience so far, its been a worthwhile purchase but I've only used it for a week. I like that the cover is removable to wash or even to add more foam as needed when that time comes. Definitely better than a pillow or other cushion.

FanOfFeedback: I have this cushion for my work chair and one for my car. It’s very supportive and alleviates much pressure off my hip, sciatic & lower back. Within a few days of driving without it (1 hr of driving per day), the pain and strain returns.

My only complaint is the price increase, which has doubled in the last two years.

AungAung: I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome and I felt very painful over the bottom of my buttocks at the end of the day after hours of sitting. I also got some tingling sensation and sciatic like pain in my left foot. I bought so many different cushions and I did not find help from them. Finally, I typed "cushion for piriformis syndrome" in amazon webisite and this cushion came up and I found this the most expensive. However, when I checked the measurements, this one fits with my body size. I am 166 cm tall and my BMI is around 19 and so I am pretty thin. When I first received it, since the day one, I found it very helpful and it reduced a lot of pain from my buttocks. Hence, even though it is expensive, I decided to buy another one. One for my office and one for my home. I will definitely recommend anyone with sit bone pain to use this cushion. I attached the photo on mine with my office chair.

hopla: Schade, dass es nirgendwo in Europa einen ähnlichen guten Kissen gibt (die wenig Kissen, die es hier gibt, haben Löcher, die nicht groß genug und genug weit auseinandern sind) und zum Glück gibt es diesen Kissen, aber man muss denen aus den USA bestellen. Habe ich gemacht und freue mich jeden Tag, dass ich es gekauft habe. Der Kissen ist schön weich (für jemand der um herum 60kg wiegt), aber nicht soviel, dass die Sitzbeinhöcker den Stuhlbereich berühren, wenn drauf sitzt).

Laura BurandtLaura Burandt: The only remotely close to negative thing I can say about this Aylio socket seat cushion, is that it isn’t really soft and cushiony-light to sit on at first, so it’s not as immediately plush and comfy as you might expect, as it doesn’t have a soft, sinking-in memory foam feel. It has a little harder memory-foam feel that better-supports your tailbone, back, hips, and is ergonomically designed well with its curves, dips, and dishes for your leg space, seat bones, and tail bone. This offers lots of support for sitting all day, and it cannot help but improve posture as you sit as well. It seems to be good quality and well-constructed. It did not smell in taking it out of the box, and it could be easily portable for road trips are carrying with you. It is also the perfect size for an office seat like mine, and jr doesn’t slide around too much. Good seat cushion! I would buy it again, and I do recommend it!
