Chester Washburn: PIANO: it has a genuine hammer action and the sound is touch sensitive - it is a true semi-weighted keyboard. Keys don't feel quite as good as a high-end acoustic piano but they are very decent - no complaints. The sound package is kind of cheap - audiophiles will dislike it, but it's still good enough for a respectable practice piano. I like how it comes with a full pedal set - and the pedals feel good and are finished nicely. The controls for the metronome, recording, and rhythm features are very counterintuitive, but then again, this is a digital piano and not a MIDI workstation. It has USB, aux, vibrato pedal, mic, and headphone jacks, so it's plenty versatile with enough accessories. It's also reasonably compact for what it is. B+.

STAND: It's flat-pack with cheap hardware, but the finish on the wood panels is good quality and fairly robust. Cheap, but not so cheap that it borders upon trash. Assembly is fairly easy but because the hardware is cheap, the user must take time and be careful when building. It's reasonably stout and looks good once it's finished being put together. It's also fairly light and easy to move. B+.

Cliente Amazon: Ok è arrivato è funzionante, l'imballaggio era danneggiato quindi ho ritirato il pacco con riserva, purtroppo i corrieri non sono delicati. Consiglio per esperienza di provare la tastiera prima di montare il mobile in modo da poter fare facilmente un eventuale reso.

Purtroppo metto due stelle sulla fiducia perchè mi è arrivato danneggiato credo a causa di errato imballaggio. Per quanto sia stato possibile sentire il suono emesso dagli amplificatori è buono. Il montaggio è semplice e la qualità è soddisfacente per il prezzo proposto sotto i 400 euro. Ottimo prodotto per principianti. Ho chiesto il reso e ordinato nuovamente, sono in attesa della consegna. Se arriverà senza danni potrò mettere 4 stelle.

Jason W.: I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. I have been playing piano since the age of 6 and I'm turning 27 in a month. I've had a hiatus where I stopped playing due to college and other life commitments which has lasted about 10 years. I decided to get back into playing, but didn't want to invest in a true piano because my time would be short, and I don't have a house yet. To get a good full-weighted portable piano costs at least $700, more if you want a top of the line piano like the Yamaha P70.

So I went into this experience not expecting much. It was more of a "how does this piano REALLY stack up" kind of experiment. It's about $300, you can't really ask for much in a full-size keyboard for that price.

Key feel: Hate to say, but they're nowhere near semi-weighted. They're basically regular keyboard keys, but they've added the actual key shape. But the weight feels just as flimsy as a regular 61-key Casio keyboard. So I would say this is perfect for beginners who want the feel of an actual piano, without shelling out $700+ for a real piano only to have your beginner abandon their resolve to learn it a few weeks later. Jesse A. GoldJesse A. Gold: OK. So I've had my Donner DEP-10 for about a week, and overall, I really like it. I think it's a great budget Electronic Piano with some nice features for an incredible price (cost me about $260 with coupon in Canada). Consider the cheapest semi-comparable model at Costco goes for $529 (albeit with a stand & bench) and you're laughing! Donner also sells a version with a wood stand for about $100 more, and a bench will set you back $50, so you're still easily saving over $120 without blinking!

As you can see from the photos, the keyboard came well packed and weight was reasonable and solid. Good build quality. The keys have a nice faint ingrained wood pattern to them; the music stand is sturdy enough to hold an ipad, and the overall build seems solid, with no sharp corners or creaking plastic. You can also see from the pics that it's a bit of a chunky munky....I was trying to figure out why it was so fat...well, turns out, in addition to the top speakers, there are a couple of bottom-firing speakers as well, that help round out the Bass and give it the volume of a large piano without distorting. Nice touch, Donner!

Da oltre 20 anni sono produttore di musica (elettronica, acid jazz, cantautori, colonne 
sonore per film, sound design per mostre e proiezioni di mapping 3D), collaboro con uno studio di registrazione e ho anche il mio home studio.
Da bambino ho studiato pianoforte classico, in adolescenza ho poi proseguito da autodidatta lo studio di tastiere, sintetizzatori, sax, chitarra e basso, abbandonando completamente la classica e il pianoforte acustico.
Recentemente ho avuto necessità di acquistare un piano digitale da utilizzare sia collegato al computer (fino ad oggi ho sempre utilizzato controller midi con tastiere non pesate di 3 o 4 ottave) sia per diletto nel riprendere gli studi jazzistici.
Da felice possessore di altri strumenti Donner (chitarra elettrica, ukulele, speaker e effetti a pedale), dopo aver confrontato in rete video e recensioni di numerosi pianoforti digitali, fidandomi del brand alla fine ho scelto questo piano all’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e ora vi spiego perché lo consiglio vivamente.
