Donner DDP-300 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano for Beginners and Professionals

Heber CR: I'm a really beginner in everything related to the music world, I have been interested in learning to play piano. For me this piano sounds great, it was easy to mount and it looks amazing in my living room. I made some comparisons in physical stores and tried different brands that are more recognized (expensive) and at least for me who does not have an instructed or developed hear for music they sound equal.
Additionally the simplicity of this piano helps me to be focus on what I want to learn piano, it does not have a lot of buttons than distract me during my lessons (self-study for now).
I saw some bad reviews related to the packaging, scratches and keys that do not sound but mine was in perfect conditions, the packaging was perfect even it supports the travel from US to Costa Rica by ship.

emma dimacheemma dimache: It arrived with a little dent on the RIGHT side of the keyboard LEG part.
Assembling wasn’t too hard except you need 2 people to put keyboard part on stand as it is quite heavy to handle alone.
CAN WE HAVE A REPLACEMNT OF THE RIGHT SIDE LEG?

Amazon Customer: Although the keyboard may not have performed exactly as I expected, the vendor responded quickly to my issues. Thier customer service provided several possible alternatives routes to my overall satisfaction. The customer service was superior and for that reason I would recommend them.

MoMo: The media could not be loaded.  I recently purchased a piano from this seller and, unfortunately, it arrived with some damage. However, I must say that the customer service I received in resolving this issue was nothing short of exceptional.

Upon contacting customer service, they responded promptly and efficiently. They not only offered a fair resolution but also ensured that I was completely satisfied with the outcome. The dedication and professionalism of their customer service team are truly commendable.

As for the piano itself, once the issue was sorted out, I have been thoroughly delighted with its quality and sound. It has exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Demigod: Overall, great for my 9 year old daughter to start playing piano. Value for money and features is good. Should last us 5 years for early stages of my daughters piano lessons, which suffices the need of this piano.

I don’t know anything about music. But i think my daughter can use this piano at least 5 - 8 years with a tutor. Once she’s past intermediate and beyond, she’ll probably need a better one (but we’ll buy a different one then, if she ever gets to that point).

D.LanzenD.Lanzen: Das Piano macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Die Lautstärke ist gut. Mit Bluetooth und vielen Anschluss Möglichkeiten. Ich habe mir die App skoove dazu gekauft. Und bin begeistert wie einfach die ersten Lieder spielbar werden. Die Klaviatur macht einen Soliden Eindruck. Das Holz scheint ala Ikea aus Pressholz zu sein. Es steht aber stabil und klingt an sich ganz gut. Aufzubauen war kein Problem und war fix abgeschlossen. Für das Geld erstmal super. Leider habe ich einen Transportschaden.

Mike CoppinMike Coppin: The media could not be loaded.  The Donner DDP-300 digital piano brings the quality you’ve come to expect at the price point that has made Donner’s place in the market.

Pros: the build quality is always impressive. The laminate looks great, this is a piece that you could feel proud to have displayed in your living room. The wide top allows for decor or more practical uses like a laptop or a place to put a drink (with coaster of course!). Set up was very simple, took me about 15 minutes to do it by myself.

The keys themselves are good, not great, but good. The hammer action is a step up from a semi or fully weighted keyboard, but of course because of the price is not at the level of a Nord or high quality Korg, Yamaha, Roland, etc. and their Hammer action. The pedals all work great and also have a decent feel to them as they offer more resistance than a basic sustain pedal.

The sound is something I had to warm up to. Perhaps I set too high of expectations initially so when I first played it I was actually disappointed. But within a day of playing around with the Piano I’ve come to appreciate its Grand Piano and Bright Piano timbres. They both have a...

Trish M.Trish M.: I changed my original 3 star rating to 4. Let me share the pros and cons. Then I'll explain why I changed my rating.

PROS:

1. Aesthetically, for the price point, it's a beautiful piano. It's black with a very subtle dark red finish. This is easily a lovely piece of furniture for any living room.

2. It's easy to assemble, although ideally, you need two people because it weighs about 99 pounds.

3. All the keys, button functions, sliding cover, and book stand are in perfect working order. The piano has several features such as multiple voices (grand piano, electric piano, strings, etc.), Bluetooth MIDI function, and a headphone jack. The pedals feel right when I test it but I didn't plug it in so I don't know if it works properly.

4. The price point is really good for what you get.

5. The keys are full size, weighted and sensitive to touch. The softer you hit the key, the softer the sound. The harder you hit the key, the louder the sound. Just like the keys of a traditional acoustic piano.
