It's entirely non-functional due to the visible damage to the paper when viewed through the glass. Additionally, its length exceededed the specified order by an extra two feet. It is also not cut straight.

AMAM: I ordered this background for my 55 gallon freshwater aquarium. It is thinner and lighter than the background I purchased at my local fish store, which means it has less tendency to curl, and being lighter/thinner makes it easier to adhere to the glass. I had to trim a few inches off both sides to get a perfect fit, but the trimming can actually be done after the background is in place. I used Seaview Mounting Solution as the adhesive. You'll need a flat edge such as a credit card to smooth the bubbles out, and have a paper towel handy to wipe up the extra that gets squeezed out. My 12 year old helped me by holding one side of the background while I trimmed it and then he helped me hold it flat while it was being pressed onto the glass. The whole process took 10 minutes and it looks awesome!
