Katherine Hull: I bought this book for a 10 year old 5th grader who HATES reading. She loves spooky and creepy things but doesn’t really care for fiction very often. I thought she might like this for her required reading time as it has many short, but informative, passages about various creepy things, such as a doll that supposedly comes to life, some “haunted” castles and some people who may have had premonitions about the Titanic.
I was pleasantly surprised when she told me she finished it in one go as she didn’t want to stop reading. She then excitedly told me about what she read and what she already knew as well as things she wanted to know about, all unprompted! I highly recommend this book for reluctant readers who are into spooky and creepy things

Kate McDermott: I bought this for my 13 Yr old nephew. He enjoyed reading it and I couldn't resist ,full of eerie facts and stories. Even though its aimed at kids would be a great coffee table book to dip in and out of.
