Mariella Galliani FernándezMariella Galliani Fernández: I bought this book for my grandchild, he is six years old. I am a preschool teacher and what I saw in this beautiful book, is that is very easy to understand and develops the child’s will in a positive way beautifully.

Tryan: bought this for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it. and now when things start getting off for her and things aren't going right she's actually told me she needs to be more like a "palm tree" and I think this book spoke to her. great job to fit in with the rest of the spot books

Stephanie Marie: I’m a therapist and I’ve read this with a few kids. There are quite a few words that even some of my better readers had a hard time with so it might not be the easiest read alone book but the kids really liked it and it got the idea across.

Monica: My class gets so excited every time a new book is released. This book led to amazing discussions over how we can be more flexible in our thinking. This lead perfectly into Alber's next books, A Little Spot of Boredom and A little Spot of Frustration. I own all of the Spot books, and I am never dissappointed.

Linke1979: The simple, yet engaging illustrations paired with easy to understand text show how beneficial it is for children to engage in flexible thinking. This is a great resource for children that have difficulty with change or unmet expectations. It is perfect for use with my 2nd grade students, but I think it could be used with pre-K to 3rd to teach social skills.

Amazon Customer: This book is EXACTLY what my kids needed! Any children can benefit from this, but If you have children who struggle with emotional regulation or anxiety, this book and the little spot of emotion series are just a necessity. They have helped my 8 year old ADHD child with emotional regulation skills and are teaching my 3 year old these important skills nice and early in her life due to their easy to follow concepts and analogies!

Marianne B.: I buy all of the Spot/Scribble books for my kids and we love them! I also shared them with a friend who works in a child care center and she's is just as obsessed as I am now. These books are amazing for teaching children about feelings, emotions and behaviors. My boys are high functioning
Autistic but I recommend them to all of my friends and any else with children.

Annie: A bit expensive, but it has been very helpful to my young child to understand flexible thinking. The book is quite detailed, but I usually improvise with our daily examples for her to understand. Been reading this book to my child since she was 3. Anytime she has anxiety, insecurities, rigid, I’d read her this book. Recommended by our OT and good foundation to explain about feelings and flexible thinking.
