I gave this product 4 stars because it is actually a little over 1 inch smaller than advertised. The height is correct, but the base is short of the advertised dimensions. We purchased this dog house as a "duck house" for our ducks to be able to get in out of the weather if they so choose. It appears they will all fit inside, but we have yet to see more than 3 inside at one time.
The roof is not easy to remove to clean. Do not purchase this item if that is a requirement for you. You have to remove 8 screws in order to take the roof off, and the roof is fitted into the front and back walls. I have not, nor do I plan to remove the roof. We will just have to reach inside with brooms or the water hose to clean it out.
