LoraLora: I have over100 potted plants and over the years I have tried numerous types of media at the bottom for proper drainage from pebbles, small rocks, leca, etc. None of which actually worked and added unnecessary weight. I even tried the round screen pieces from Amazon meant for this purpose, they were much more expensive and the size of the mesh caused them to become clogged which led to root rot. I'm grateful I decided to try this bc it is perfect. I've included pics to show I simply lay the screen on the outside bottom of each pot, cut around the edge of the pot and it fits perfectly in the bottom. I use the extra small cut off pieces in smaller pots to cover the holes so there is no waste. It is easy to cut but very durable. I ordered the 39x118 roll exactly one year ago and am ordering a second roll now. I've had absolutely no issues with any plants I've used it in. I have had to repot several due to growth thru the year, the screen was still in like new condition so I've been able to reuse it. I'm getting more now because my plant collection continues to grow. I highly recommend this screen for proper drainage in any potted plant!
