Kani: It was marked as “very good,” but it had a sticky page that was really disgusting. Tried to clean it but started to wipe away the art and letters, so I had to stop. I was planning to use it as an autograph book, but it’s too heavy.

TREVORTREVOR: Thank you to the other reviewers! I'm so happy I got this book out of all the other ones I was considering. Alot of the Disney characters recognized this book, Ariel the little Mermaid even remembers her page number. It's a big book, yes but it just meant their signatures were bigger! We will go back to visit the characters that we missed, it's a fun way to make a mission out of it. A good hardy book. Note that you wont have every single page filled even if you tried since not all the characters in the book reside at Disneyland & CA.

MrsSheffieldMrsSheffield: Best autograph book by far!!! I cannot say enough great things about this book. Not only is it fun to look through on its own but it was the PERFECT autograph book for my kids. The characters were familiar with it and it served as a fantastic book for the kids to look through while we waited in lines at Disneyland. The only character we ran into without a designated page was Bo Peep, but we had her sign Woody’s page :) I have heard others comment saying they had some sign the inside cover when they didn’t have a page which would have worked well too. We also took the advice of others and brought a sharpie (the clicker kind) and it worked well with the characters in full costumes. Each page summarizes the characters story and gives trivia or a quote and we found these good conversation pieces and makes them think! Each night we were there, we also used the book for our bedtime story time and the kids purposely had us read the pages with signatures and talked about our magical experiences. Under $8 is a steal for this book! Look no further, you found it!

Rachel MaieRachel Maie: This was not the book I thought it was. However that was my mistake and not the sellers! Shipped super fast! Great price! The book is missing some seriously famous characters and that is disappointing. I am happy to have it in my collection. Great for little kids but adults would enjoy Disney Who's Who more. The poster on the inside of book jacket was a very nice touch. The seller deserves 5 stars! But my 4 star rating is for the lack of some famous characters or even forgotten characters.. Tarazn and company are COMPLETELY missing from book...many favorites not included...little disappointed.

Tyler E.: Used this like many others for an autograph book on our trip to Disneyland in January. It was easy to carry around in a backpack, and worked great for autographs. It's clear many others have used it for this as the Mad Hatter told me what page to turn to. It was also really great to read on the plane and while standing in the many, many lines. I will be buying two more for gifts for our friends daughters for their trip to Disneyworld in a few months.

AlessandraMARSAlessandraMARS: Ho acquistato questo libro per usarlo come libro degli autografi nel nostro prossimo (nonchè primo) viaggio di famiglia a Disneyland Parigi! Infatti è perfetto: ha una pagina per ogni personaggio (ben 150 personaggi) e ho visto che negli stati uniti è molto usato per questo scopo! Penso che averlo con gli autografi dei personaggi sarà un bellissimo ricordo per i miei bambini che nel frattempo lo sfogliano e mi chiedono curiosità su ciascuno dei personaggi! Unica pecca: è in INGLESE! per me non è un problema perchè lo capisco bene quindi leggo e traduco contemporaneamente ai bambini però per loro (soprattutto per il quasi 7enne) che sa leggere sarebbe più bello fosse in italiano, ma la disney Junior non pubblica questo titolo in italiano purtroppo, e altre enciclopedie simili (con 150 personaggi) non si trovano in italiano

Olivia StablerOlivia Stabler: My 5 year old loves all of the Disney movies and I got her this for Valentine's Day and it's quickly become one of her favorites. The book was only $8 and such a bargain for the excellent quality. The book is hardback with thick pages and has a removable dust jacket that has a poster on the other side of many of the Disney characters on it. The book has 143 pages of different Disney characters from both Disney and Pixar movies, including Belle, the Beast, Lightning McQueen, Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Dumbo, Bambi, Ariel, Buzz Lightyear, Simba, Donald Duck, Peter Pan, Nemo, and Jiminy Cricket to name a few. Each page has beautifully colored illustrations that look just like the characters and a short synopsis of movie information about each character as well as trivia, quotes, and little known facts about them (see photos).

The characters are alphabetically listed and their names are printed on a colored banner on the side so you can easily find the characters you want to read about. Though she was familiar with most of the characters, there were some she didn't know and she became curious enough to want to rent the movies they are from. If you have a Disney fan, they'll love...

Alyanna77Alyanna77: I'm torn over how much I like this version of the Disney Character Encyclopedia. I bought my daughter the 2009 edition, but decided to get the updated one to use as an autograph book for our upcoming WDW trip.

Pros:
It includes a lot of the new characters, from Frozen, Planes, Up, and even The Pirate Fairy.
I personally like the clean new style of the pages, particularly the solid band of color on the side with the character's names - it makes it very easy to flip through to the right page.
They removed some of the more obscure characters that I just don't care about (does anyone even remember the names of the "Dinosaurs" characters?)
The hardbound edition is nice, & the book jacket can help keep your book from getting dinged. The pages also seem a little thicker and nicer quality, but that may just be an age issue.

Cons:
My 12yo daughter much prefers the old style, with each character having a font that fits them or their movie style.
The old edition had more fun facts about the characters, including things like their favorite colors, etc. The new version seems like a little bit drier read.
I miss the 2-page spreads for main characters....
