Dishwasher-Safe Super Glue Tube for Glass, 3g (15171-12)

gbrehmer: Now that I really need a dishwasher safe super glue that I proactively purchased for special need back on March 13, 2023 today, I learned that the tube of superglue which was never opened until today is hard as a rock and is not usable in anyway. And now that I am well beyond my return date for this product there is nothing that I can do but to assume it as a loss. Up until now I had a different opinion of superglue which you can purchase the regular superglue at many dollar stores, but for a dishwasher safe obviously this would not be the case and I was willing to pay the higher price, but guess I made the wrong decision on this.

Luke WalkupLuke Walkup: I had been happy to find glue for ceramics that supposedly held up to being in the dishwasher and also appreciated the SuperGlue name brand. The product arrived quickly. I opened one of the packages, put on the lid to pierce the foil in the hope of applying some glue to a broken teapot lid. I began to squeeze and was met with a rock-solid tube. I double-checked that I had successfully pierced the tube's foil (I had). It became clear that the first tube was all dried out. How fortunate that I bought two... except the second one proved to be entirely dried out as well. Very disappointing, but it happens. I began to initiate the return and Amazon directed me to the SuperGlue webpage to contact the company directly.

I have attempted to contact the company at least two times now via their website. I have not so much as received a confirmation from them either time over the course of weeks now. I tried again today to return via amazon, again I am referred to the website.

Be advised. If you get a defective, dried-out product, you might not have any recourse but to leave a terrible review of the company.

jgm: A bracket in my 6 year old GE dishwasher had the soldering come loose due to rust. I bought this and glued the bracket back on - it's been going strong for over a month with a heavy duty hot drying cycle running every other day. Nice!

Darrell F: A handle was broken on a favorite cup. Four pieces were put together and then reattached to the cup. The cup is back in use and has survived more than 20 dishwasher cycles so far. There is some white residue that seems to seep out the joints after washing. We're happy with the result.

Sally A. Cooke: This glue worked well on a glass candle holder with petals. A petal broke off of it. It needed to be held in place longer than 2 minutes though.
