This is a beautiful book. I bought one for each of two elderly friends but unfortunately I have had to return them as the book is very heavy, too heavy for my friends to cope with.

My only complaint is that the cover of the book is marked up with packing marks from rough handling. I bought this for my homeschooled 9 year old niece. She loves all of these smithsonian books. I have gotten nearly all of them for her over the years as birthday and christmas gifts. The amount of information contained in them will last her well through high school years.
